- What writen above works, because usually it is the safty that is matched 1 on 1 vs TE, and they usually has low MCV which allows a good TE to get rid of them easily. - But sometimes event they cannot do it, so i might just replace them with my CB4 and CB5 with good MCV when i am playing Mid Blitz to get good coverage.
- That slant or even drag is actually the best route . Especially if your WR has slot-o-matic or route tech. If you want you can user one of your sublb who is blitzing in the middle to just touch the oline and quickly drop to cover that slant.
- RB on flat or wheel or any route was actully more dangerous for me because they run from back field and it took time for my defender to go and cover him. If you are say 2nd or 3rd short, make sure you plan to use rb route. You need to be quick though before you get sack.
- Another time i got destroyed was when the attack has Calvin Johnson with match up nightmare and dude just throw high ball and jump catch for 10-15 yard all the way against my 5'10 CB ... another way to think about...
- Try Cover-1-Press, i personally think it worked better than Mid Blitz.
