I agree that it would be nice if the prices on top tier cards would come down since the game is practically over. Unfortunately the reason the odds aren’t better than 34% is in fact not puzzling. Like come on people. EA needs to release a pack with better odds. 34% chance..34% chance at a Golden ticket! Why it's not 50% is puzzling.

I appreciate the kind words man. Thanks as well for bringing up the childhood memories. I was a huge Hornets fan and had everything including bedding and wallpaper. Zo and Larry Johnson were my favorites but Jordan is the GOAT. I still have a Jordan…
peatrick said:100% was trying to conjure up Relentless, thank you AGAIN. Now revised my prior comment. Seriously appreciate when folks correct the many, many mistakes I make, be it with poor terminology, simple oversight or lack of knowledge and understanding of this buggy ass game that we all want to love.
Thanks for taking the time to detail your current defensive / pass rush setup. I've got that 99 BND FAP pack waiting to choose someone, but hasn't been a pressing need. So there it sits.
You have no idea how much i adore your fun fact. I might be looking in a mirror. I grew up with my entire bedroom plastered with various Air Jordan posters, but my brother was a huge Spurs fan, because of The Admiral. I still remember him getting those David Robinson Air Force pumps in the early Nineties... that seemed to go halfway up your calf. Don't think he ever got an autograph, though. Awesome story.
PLEASE, for my own sake and for that of the community at large, continue to correct my confusions/delusions. I am wildly enthusiastic about this game, but hardly an expert. Appreciate when the big brains such as yourself take me to school on a range of topics. Happy weekend, my guy. Keep up the excellent work.

All good man, not trying to correct you, I just wanted to be clear in case someone else reads through this and gets confused about it. Also hate to bring it up now but I believe you are referring to Relentless on AD, I agree it was a nice pair with …
peatrick said:Thank you for correcting my poor terminology. For a while, I was using Relentless on Aaron Donald, which paired nicely with DoN, always keeping him at max pass rush points. All your information is so spot-on correct, basically detailing my exact experiences.
Most of my pressures are coming from quick A-gap blitzes (using mostly 3-3 Odd lately), or the B-gap from overloading the weak side in 3-3 Cub or simple disengage when rushing with four down linemen sets. I was only interested in Defensive Rally again all of a sudden due to the overwhelming amount of ability options we now have. Who do you prefer as your primary pass rushers? I've got Aidan Hutchinson (LE), Mario Williams (DT1), John Randle (DT2) and Jevon Kearse (RE) with Junior Seau & Dave Robinson (although i keep confusing him with the Spurs center and i want to continually call him "David" heh) as my outside linebackers. Of course Caleb Jones as my primary USER.
I also bring in Ray Nitschke in the rare event i need to run 3-4 Odd, this is how i try to defend against the heavy run formations. Good to know there is some tangible benefit to stacking Defensive Rally.
Re: Defensive Rally/PR Points Testing

Yeah I was kinda surprised when someone commented on this post about a month ago. The info is from MUT23 and during a time when Secure Pro wasn’t being used at all. With our current H2H gameplay having Secure Pro on all o-line I don’t think D-Rally …
peatrick said:Holy crap this is an ancient post, but first time I'm seeing it and THANK YOU for taking the time to provide such a detailed and well-written report of your Defensive Rally testing scenarios. I learned a whole heck of a lot from this, had absolutely no idea that DR could stack and provide additional pass rush points. This could be super interesting when paired with stuff liek Bull Rush or Double or Nothing, which can help guarantee superwins.

Re: Defensive Rally/PR Points Testing

It’s not as good as you would hope. El Toro seems to do nothing this year and Secure Protector makes all of this dice rolls no matter how many pass rush points and abilities you have.
phatalerror said:Why am I even running a theme team anymore?
Time for me to run Double or Nothing, El Toro, and Interior Threat/Edge Threat Elite on Kearse, Sapp, Davis, and Turner for 0 AP. I only need four Defensive Rally abilities, which everyone but Sapp can equip for 0 AP. I'll add Fiske later if a 5-2 becomes useful, but I can run 4-3 Over or Under with Robinson and Oweh. All of the defensive backs have Universal Coverage. I'll just man the middle linebacker to my opponent's runningback, run zone, pass commit, and user random linemen.
There are probably people already doing this, and I'm late to the game.

Finally tried this and you can‘t equip defensive rally twice on the same player.
motharula said:Yes please do! And reply so I'll get the noti when you test it please lol
