Damn someone sniped him for 9mil.
IEA is a joke now. You got into the madden weekly twitch show and try to bring up the issue of spending hundreds of dollars for attempted LTDs or this Lamar program offer and they block you or kick you out as they dont want anyone else to possibly think of this because its true. They already made millions off the game itself then bring out shot like this that trys to force the user to spend hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to upgrade their team that will all become pointless in two weeks once the ratings go up and other cards come out that you can get with tokens.
Not defending EA and other vendors at all, but since Xbox Series X and PS5 came out, the cost of the games has not changed. They were and always have been $69.99 with prices higher for deluxe and other editions. But standard game prices haven't changed. The reason being is microtransactions. If they didn't have all the microtransactions, game prices would have had to increase like every other thing in the world has gone up 30-40% over the last 3 years. I honestly would rather them charge $100 for the game and then have no microtransactions but they are the reason why video game prices remain unchanged for years.
I agree, I just finished. It seems the players' OVRs are higher, and some have abilities, which is making it a bit more difficult.
The upcoming Combine QB and Ranked Kyler are better than Lamar
BOOM

MUT should be free honestly since they legit lock a lot of stuff behind pay walls. It’s kind of ridiculous you have to pay $70 dollars for a game and still can’t get everything in it without spending more money. Should be against the law
I never have paid for anything besides the game & the annual online access to Sony to play any online game which is bs too imo. I can already see they are trying to figure out a balance between people who buy the game and people who buy the game and buy passes, packs etc. When it gets to the point I have to buy something extra to actually be competitive in online modes, I’m out. It’s kinda already getting there, when I see people with god squads full of LTDs, I know the advantage sliders are tilted in their direction but at this point you still need to be pretty decent at actually playing the game to win. It doesn’t seem full pay to win….yet.

As I said, I hate microtransactions, however, it's how they kept the game prices the same when everything else under the sun increased in price 30-40%. If they went to making the game free and purely based on microtransactions, any card worth having would be 1400 like Lamar. I wish we could go back to a simpler time when you paid 60 bucks for a game on PS4 and had everything the game had to offer. Star Wars Battlefront II was the game I blame for ruining this, where you had to pay to win.

EA is a major scammer and nerd, but they only have power if people give it to them. People need to discipline themselves and hold out for a few weeks, stop participating in the programs for the rest of this year and they will have to change something.
And then they would get banned for "coin distribution".

I’m just saying it shouldn’t be allowed you buy a game under the impression you can get everything offered in it and not have to buy extra stuff. I think if you are going to have things that cost extra it should not be players leaning into a pay to win it should only be for jerseys and gear kind of like Fortnite skins. No advantage at all from it .
I do think you thought on pricing going way up is off though there is a price point people will not go past. And people just wouldn’t buy games in the masses if you raise the price to high.
This game ALWAYS drops content that not everybody can easily acquire. Just copy and paste this for next $$$ promo i guess. Happy auction h hunting
Crab5 said:The same people who religiously buy packs probably also have gambling addictions, cause you are quite literally never getting what you paid for. Almost every pack they have that isn't a guaranteed pack is a straight up money sink scam, and the guaranteed packs are vastly overpriced.
Why pay hundreds of dollars for something with a 3 week shelf life?
"Why pay hundreds of dollars for something with a 3 week shelf life?"
The goal is usually to sell before the price drops, collecting the coins and continuing on with he game. Using the coins in the AH to make more coins. Most people who have huge coin stacks who buy packs know this. I guess there are some who see this card as an end game Qb1... All i see is 10 m coins

Not easily acquire is different from a card being literally impossible to acquire, hence why EA placed a bunch of 10M Lamar cards on the AH.

Sure right now you cant get him. Over time it will be easier. People have actually finished the set and sold the card. Its not all EA

How have they done this when it's literally impossible? It takes 55 packs of the Double Dungeon, which is the least amount of packs you can acquire, to finish this set?
EA caps the number of those packs right now to 5 and unless I missed something, there have only been 1-2 refreshes of that set. So even if some degenerate paid $1,400 to purchase all 55 it's still impossible.
