LBs. Those are good. I personally have my TE2 and TE3 as blocking TEs, so I have Trautman and Watt, but depends on scheme. Having a WR4 is good for fatigue or you use one WR a lot. Same with HB2. I have good backup safeties with 0 ap tackling abilit…
BigSuplex said:First year of mut, sorry if this is a dumb question. I see some people with no backups at certain positions in their lineups, which positions should I have backups at and what can be left empty?

Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

Hmmm. Okay. Y'know, I'll try that Jimmy G as well, as I think he gets solid abilities. At this point, Mahomes is way too expensive for my budget, so I have to wait for his redux to drop to try him out
bloodsporttank said:Not sure who gets slinger 2. May only be mahomes. Bert and Jimmy G get slinger 4.. Have never used that release
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

Yea Brady's release is hella wack. Do you know if there are any other QBs that get Slinger 2, or is it just Mahomes?
bloodsporttank said:Great insight on all of these and I agree . Gen 3 has been the one to be Most balanced. short/medium/deep passes . But nothing Crazy.
I've messed around with Brady with Slinger and it's a weird animation..i really don't like the traditional releases much . Even with bledsoe and slinger..on short quick passes feels like he cant make the throws Arod can make . I've seen a lot of people mention Brady's corner route passes sometimes he cant make em . (Fair to say could be user error or not)
Love slinger 1 ..for sure best in the game . But I've been using Slinger 2 with Slinger and PLE on mahomes .. and man ive been enjoying it a lot .In the beginning I couldn't buy in lol. But For me feels better on deep passes than slinger 1 and has been making some passes on a rope on super tight windows . Check it out if you can . Sometimes get a side arm throw animation and get quick man beating passes.
All comes down to preference! W forum
Re: What happens when both of my SS are SubLB?

You're FS2 should play SS. Either that or it'll default a MLB if there isn't enough depth
heffitos said:I have Bo starting at SS with Hendricks at backup, I also have them both as my SubLB, who is going start at SS if I do that?
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

Yea it's funky. I'll probably go back to Bledsoe after I'm done testing different QBs and their release. The deep ball is part of my offense so that deep ball is crucial, and his release short is manageable to me.
TheChamp22 said:I agree with everything you said.
I picked up scrambler Brady to try out instead of LTD fields because you can get HRM SFL on him for 3AP. However his release was weird, sometimes you get the ball off quick on short and medium throws and other times he wouldn’t. He also missed a lot of deep balls especially high balls for me even with the let it rip gold strat I always use and his release on deep balls was meh as well.
anyway I’m back to fields with just SFL and just running slot Ap on Ceedee and it’s much better. Guess I’m just a gen 3 guy.
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

Oh Bert Jones gets Lamar's release? Maybe I'll get Bert Jones then...
Gent said:Lamar's release is super underrated. He and Bert Jones are the only two in the game with it. Can't wait to get a new QB who has that release as that's who I'll be grabbing once they drop.
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

will do!
JAAMBMO said:Let me know when you do try out their next upgrades!
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

oooh Lamar. Haven't used him yet. When Allen and Lamar get upgrades, I'll have to try them out (QS'd the 92 Allen)
JAAMBMO said:Aaron's release on deep throws is absolutely awful. Brady's overall release is extremely "meh", and I'm currently using him as a gap QB until someone I really want comes out. The one I enjoyed using the most, for every throw, was the free Josh Allen we received. Really looking forward to his next card. Surprisingly, record breaking Lamar's release was pretty smooth for me too. Will get one of them when released.
Re: Top QB's and Their Releases

I can take a look at Cunningham. Even his lower cards should have a similar release so I may eventually grab him and give him a shot.

And yea Gen 3 struggles a little when throwing deep. That's why I changed off Fitzpatrick, because the deep bal…
entrapt said:Appreciate going a level deeper than just average release times, someone needs to do a full breakdown (similar to this) that has the short/medium/deep times for each release.
Have you taken a look at Cunningham? Even with gunslinger his deep release seems to take a while, feels like I've eaten more sacks than when I was using Elway.
EDIT: Nevermind, Cunningham has Gen 3. I'd still be interested in the deep times between Slinger 1 and Gen 3.

I'd whip them out. They take like 15 minutes per week (besides week 1)
KeVReTrO said:Pretty mad I didn't do any and I'm not gonna do them all now but a bummer I missed out on a great thing.

Good move.
highpod said:I think I’m just gonna sit tight on everything, and if I want a reroll, anything, I’ll do it right before the packs come out of the store.
Re: Presents

Depends. Personally, I'd just quicksell the smalls, but I know some people like to roll. I'd go for the in between and quicksell half of your medium/program presents.
highpod said:The only question is which presents to quick sell, and which presents to keep. Obviously, large or better i keep, and the smalls get quick sold. But it’s the in between ones I am unsure of.
