I always have to laugh when I see a 30 yard deep flat LOL. Not every coverage is match, some are straight zone with certain extra responsibilities for one or 2 players but yeah, the coverages in Madden are very unrealistic LOL.
YoungOG said:I played football and let me tell you there is no coverage that drops a flat corner 30 yards down the field. how this adjustment is in the game is pure arcade football.
Modern football is played on defense by various match coverages depending on the vertical release of receivers and the safety’s cover those corner routes or the deep quarter by the corner.
Ea needs to fix match coverage completely because that’s what is actually used in football college and pro

Ahh the famous blindfold coding in the game......
Rollhumps said:At least he swatted it… i had 3 balls thrown right past my DB yesterday for completed catches.
Re: Ceedee or Wilson

I'd still go with MF Garret
TwistedTea said:Nah i just need an all around receiver so thats why im looking at a slight upgrade like jettas, wilson or ceedee. I've got 750k but i only want to spend 300-350k. I dont just need my wr3 from bubbles they gotta be able to run the cover 2/3 beater post route too. thats why im looking for 91 speed
Re: Ceedee or Wilson

No offense, but It's SO much different. +6 Agility, +5 COD, better juke, better speed over Tyreek .... +2 accel, +6 agility, +8 COD, +12 Juke, +5 speed over Devonta.....those cards don't hold up so well against DBs like DRC out there. It's not just…
blamppp said:it's not that much difference, i've used all cards mentioned extensively, the slim reaper card has performed the best out of them all honestly. speed is cool but sometimes speed runs you into a block, similiar to hitting turbo when you run it makes the blockshed too fast.
Re: Ceedee or Wilson

I guess maybe on a tight budget but at this point in the game you really would want a card like Clayton or Lockett there...much better after the catch.

As for who to block, I usually sub MF Kittle at WR when I need a block on the outside like that
blamppp said:if you want to save coin, get tyreek hill or slim reaper, and if you really want to save coin get devin duvernay or whatever his name is...... I guarantee you, you will never have another issue w/ that screen.
Re: That feeling when the opposing QB throws a dot right to your DB....

It seems to be the trend. Like you wrote, can't fix one thing without busting another LOL
YoungOG said:Yeah the patch that nerfed the loop blitz really ruined defensive backs. They swat what would be easy interceptions even with pick artist. Ea will fix one thing and break another

Re: Does the game seem much harder after the patch

What scheme are you using and what mode are you playing? Offense is still super dominant. Forget live opponents, who vary in skill and squad, I even have my way with the CPU on All Madden in Solo battles, and it used to be that you had to spam a few…
StoicTrader said:offense seems harder NGL, been getting clamped but also my D has been beast w my new gameplan
Re: Ceedee or Wilson

I'd cay CeeDee then.

Once in a while I will also run a screen or get the ball to a WR instead of a HB in the flat. For me, Irvin actually works even though he's a bigger WR because of the agility and juke move but the best are probably Clayton and …
TwistedTea said:I don't spam it but its part of my offense if i match up against DB Fire 2 or 6-1 and they don't adjust. Most people I play know how to defend it but yeah DK started to get terrible animations though. I'm just wanting one of those two because of the price point and they're two players that I like.

Re: What do u feel about Mackey at WR?

He makes Pitts look like a gold tier card. Get your hands on him and try him out, you won't regret it
Law412 said:Haven’t used him yet but if he plays anything like Pitts did in the slot it’ll be a scary sight. pitts has been hands down the best Wr in the game for me all year
Re: Beginning to question if speed even matters on DB’s and WR’s

Honestly, the way defense was nerfed no defense is really hard to beat. It's like a track.meet these days in Madden.

Programming > Scheme.

The reason 87 speed can stay with 92 speed is simple. EA wants everyone to think that they have a chanc…
9INE6IX said:It's not as big of a deal as people make it out to be, unless you run a man scheme.
I still have Joey Porter Jr and Pat Pete on my field. They're 88 and 87 speed with my TT boost and are lockdown to this day. I win a lot more games than I lose.
When it comes to zone...if you have the proper coverage on the field, it's gonna be tough to beat.
