Yeah but with Aikman you have to complete consecutive passes > 5 yards in H2h that's not really easy to do, if you want to get HRM. With Marino it starts on and goes on again automatically after like 6 plays or something
kaotikords said:I did run with Aikman and use GS/SFL + HRM xfactor (switched for Vick with TT)
Just depends how much coins you want in the future witht he 50k rental or use the full threshold Marino

Re: *Marino or Aikman?* (BUMPED FOR NEW INFO?)

I agree with this. With Marino, you can get the a better stack than Aikman - you can have GS, SFL full time and HRM 40-45% of the time with his AKA X factor. And Aikman has that annoying hitch in his throw motion sometimes LOL
toddpack90 said:I've used both, at this point I like Marino. Better release and you can stack HRM and SFL because of his x factor. He also is slightly faster which can be important if you need a clutch scramble once in awhile.

No freakin way...this is probably why they put it up last Thursday and then took it down right away
chiefsfan123456 said:It's a shit show. Most penalties are turned off, including illegal touching on onside kicks, so if someone onside kicks they can just kick short and immediately get the ball back. It is also arcade mode, so the slightest touch causes a fumble.

Re: SFL & Gunslinger clarification

Yep. Would need to drop gunslinger unfortunately.

EA hasn't made it easy LOL
SquishySoldier21 said:I was thinking that but wed still run out of AP to even be able to do that if we had SFL and GS on our qb wouldnt we?

These are basically the only 2 games I play these days. The Show is definitely a higher quality product
KingHarambeReturns said:MLB is miles better than Madden…You’ll enjoy the hell outta the game
Re: SFL & Gunslinger clarification

If you can, put RB apprentice on your HB so you'll get the flat, texas, ghost, etc routes
SquishySoldier21 said:Yeah I might try that out today and see how I like it actually. 90 percent of what I actually USE HRM regularly for is just the "extra" (like you said irl all routes are just available smh) rb routes.
Granted I use it for that VERY often but still its technically just one position thats mostly affected. Could be worth trying changing it up and seeing how much of a difference full time SFL would make for me.
Re: Troll offense but I can respect thought behind it

With HRM you actually can make a lot of adjustments to create an effective route combo.....but without it, no, you can't.
EightyOne said:The game is clearly nerfed a little bit on 4th down making it harder to get a 1st down if you go for it. The same should be done when players spam plays. Let's face it, you control 1 player per down and cannot make enough adjustments presnap to make a huge difference. The other 10 guys should recognise the play and react accordingly. That is what would happen IRL.
Re: House Rules is going 2 take Forever!
Re: AKA Donald "Terminator" AKA X Factor seems lacking

Well, I tried it but I hear you. I switched to HRM X with SFL on all game as a regular ability. But yeah, some of the X factors are still very powerful and some were severely nerfed (like escape artist). That's why I see guys actually not even using…
kaotikords said:Honestly havent used the SFL X. Just used the regular abilities with HRM X
Re: Troll offense but I can respect thought behind it

There's SO much EA could do but I truly believe that they want to have a high scoring game where anyone feels like they can score and possibly win so they stay invested in the game even by running any cheese, running verts and throwing lobs, etc....…
AZCARDS said:Ya I totally agree with this ^^^^. I think people will always find exploits, but what EA can do is remove cheese abilities and stuff like that and make it a little more realistic and make cpu defenders not be brain dead
Re: SFL & Gunslinger clarification

I am torn between HRM and SFL myself. I always LOVE HRM. I mean, IRL the QB can always audible or call for any hot route.

And I find that different route combinations can make all the difference....but SFL is so powerful in getting the ball where y…
SquishySoldier21 said:Good info for people who need it first of all, well explained.
My problem is considering you have to choose between SFL or HRM I have to go with HRM (i have SFL as my x factor though) although maybe I should reconsider and try out SFL one of these days. Its not like I always had HRM after all. I once did fine without it lol (PS imagine if EA just made a decent enough game in the first olace where all users had access to the same basic game mechanics of all the hot routes lol)
PPS: or if SFL was basically just represented automatically by the arm strength or the related ratings. Lol crazy how we never even stop to think of stuff like this anymore because we are just used to it by now...
