Ahhh...the old "Hey, that card played great when I first got it...WTF is going on now" trick... Yeah EA seems to somehow do things like that with their coding. I assume folks want to get outside runs and look for that one (or more) pancake blocks to spring them loose for a big gain. I'm not knowledgeable enough to determine what specific scenarios constitute an actual Impact Block, versus the regular O-line blocks/sheds, etc. but there's surely a specific calculation for all of these abilities and i suspect it's far easier to trigger from outside and second level runs.
I would tend to agree, any blockers that can get to second level, but especially great on a Center. My personal preference is almost always TE, can set up a simple HB Wham and be almost guaranteed a pancake and gaping hole to scurry through in the middle.

You're on the ball today bro :)
peatrick said:Yes, as stated above, the combination of Avalanche + Enforcer Supreme will win against Tank on 90+% of Hit Stick attempts. It won't always cause a fumble (although it often does), but should be nearly guaranteed a tackle, if nothing else. Brian Urlacher is a fantastic option to use for this purpose, but there's also the significantly more expensive Micah Parsons (MLB).
There is also the regular Enforcer ability, which does basically the same thing, although it lacks the uhhh "Demoralizer" (i think) component, which wipes Zone progress. I'm not sure anyone cares about zone progress, unless there's a RB who takes 9 plays to charge up, that could be useful to slow em down from activating Freight Train or whatever.

Re: Who is the best loop blitz pass rusher?

Lachry...my good man....

I've been with you about this for so long. It's all driven by EA. The idea that they could increase revenue by catering to "gamers" who don't know and don't care about real football drives all of this nonsense for so long …
lachry said:smh
You are not hearing a word I am saying. This game does not, will not, and has not in ages been a football sim. You can old man scream at yard as much as you want about how ”these YT kids don’t know football”….DUDE ITS NOT FOOTBALL. The only thing related to real NFL football is the names on the jerseys and logos on the helmets.
You are wanting a community to change how they play this GAME, not based on how the GAME plays, but how the real teams with those names on the jerseys and logos on the helmets play. Do you want me to not yield on a red light in GTA because I might get a traffic violation?
I get your frustration, but your frustration needs to be at EA who has fostered this gameplay (and shown it off to the masses at EVERY tournament), not the user base who a good chunk don’t know football concepts….because….again, THEY DONT HAVE TO BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A REAL FOOTBALL SIM. That’s on EA, not the kid who picked it up to griddy w/ Justin Jefferson

I'm not saying you can't get this team without spending money but it would take dedication
defense is built for mainly 61 (Nolan Smith for DT loop) but the ability to go into dime
