I guess, but why not just use a HB that isn't prone to fumbling so you don't have to worry about it and you don't have to use conservative???. I ran with Marcus Allen's card and fumbled twice in over 350 touches. I don't think I fumbled once with Ea…
efbr22 said:because you wont fumble as much?

Re: Byars review after a few games

This is 100% true, but in this case, this was actually a hit stick....and Byars went down from it. Tank is supposed to prevent hit stick tackles :(
Geo7030 said:dont think tank is gonna mean anything if hes not hitsticking you but ripping the ball to make u fumble
Re: X-factors and abilities

Work in progress but thanks; similar to yours...your defense is looking great as well bro
kaotikords said:Oh thats super nice looking
Re: Keith (Fumble Machine) Byars

There's so often stuff like that. It's why Parham's older card was such a beast but this new one isn't. It's the same with the free Deion. That Deion card does NOT play like normal Madden Deion cards; not even close.

There are cards like Sapp who a…
Gent said:This wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there was something coded into his card to make him more prone to fumbling over other HBs of similar overall. His ratings are damn near Golden ticket like with his combo of speed, power, agility, and receiving attributes. If he also never fumbled, no way would anyone use other HBs over him on god squads.
Personally, I haven't had any issues with him yet, but I have only played 3-4 games with him so it's been a small sample size so far.
Re: Keith (Fumble Machine) Byars

Glad you are having that experience but .....

First game I used him, when I caught a route in the flat, first play of the game, Rod Woodson with only Deep route KO gave him a hit stick (even with Tank on him), knocked him down, and he fumbled.

In…
mubby33 said:I have not had any issues on next gen so far. I do rotate my backs frequently with 3 hbs. He is like a bowling ball between the tackles. Where he makes bank is those flat routes where a CB tries to tackle him. No chance for those skinny dbs.
Re: Keith (Fumble Machine) Byars

It's the same on next gen. There are threads and videos everywhere of him fumbling. He fatigues easily maybe..but cards don;t always play like the attributes, ratings, etc....some have code that makes them play a bit differently. They made Byars the…
Koodsu said:He fumbles like 0.8 times per game. From what I understand he is good on next gen but bad on current gen(Im on current gen).

Yah I actually do something similar. I made a couple of changes since this screenshot (Clowney is backup to Smith, Thomas Davis is a backup now, etc) but you get the gist.....

https://i.imgur.com/AUdfscO.jpg
kaotikords said:I do have a full 0 ability line up as well Im in the middle of updating now that ZC is over too.
Re: Byars review after a few games

The first was on the first play of the game and it was a hit by Rod Woodson . My opponent had deep zone KO on him and nothing else. Byars wasn't fatigued and had Tank on him. If you look at all the comments about him, he's statistically the best run…
Geo7030 said:thats because your prolly repeatedly getting hit by corners and safeties with deflator eventually hes gonna fumble. also isnt byars rlly a fb? his team diamonds card was so maybe hes not even meant to run it
Re: Ok there's some weird juju going on with my gameplay yesterday LOL

Stick skills are fine if but if you come up 1 on 3 you need to be able to truck or juke or jurdle. Running on conservative all game puts you at a disadvantage no matter how good your stick skills are. For example I don't need abilities on my RBs for…
efbr22 said:I mean yeah hes alright on conservative but thats because ik how to use my sticks rlly well
Re: X-factors and abilities

Honestly, right now with all the free abilities, you can do this. I think I have an ability on every starter on defense currently. I have 21 players on defense with abilities currently including my users.

It also depends if you play MUT online....…
kaotikords said:All of them

Dude 2 fumbles and a reception taken away from him in a span of 10 touches. Tank does nothing, he still goes down from hit sticks.

There's no point on putting him on conservative because then you can't truck, stiff arm, juke, spin, etc
efbr22 said:Everyone has been saying Byars is a fumble god

Re: Byars review after a few games

Surprising in HR considering it is set in OT and Byars does not have the clutch trait but Dickerson does. I have 96 Munoz, 95 Kelce, 96 Creed, 96 Shields, 95 Ramcyzk. Dexter lawrence w 95 run block at TE, Delanie Walker w 91 run block.....with 96 Fr…
Charmingjmor said:He’s been good for me in about 20 HR games. I had Dickerson, and like many said here, he just wasn’t good for me. Lynch and LT, and even CJ2K were far better. Might have been the lower accel, not sure, but Dickerson always felt like he was running in mud and couldn’t even get out of the backfield(my Oline is all 96s and 95 Ryan R at RT). Byars has seems better to me. I think he may have had 1 fumble, but not sure. Far better receiver, even without BF Master. Sold Dickerson and LT, and I’m going with Byars, Lynch, CJ2K, and Okoye at FB. Has worked well So far. I really didn’t like Dickerson after his first card was great for me, the Legend was mediocre at best.
