No it can't. To earn "14 million and another 2," in 136 days since the game came out, you would need 118,519 per day, everyday.
phatalerror said:I have 16,000,000 coins, NMS. I have no problem with your strategy; game how you want. You just simply don't get the license to use the term NMS, as you spent money in excess of the cost of the standard title. Deluxe Edition gave a tremendous boost over Standard Users because you got early exclusive content as well as the points for Platinum Packs or whatever else you preferred.
This is a pay-to-play game; no one is under any illusions about that. Next year you can buy the Standard Edition if you want the NMS branding.
Who gave you the authority to just throw around the title of NMS?😭 I really don’t care about who spends money or not, but stop being a toxic pice of crap to people. Nobody cares what you say about NMS or anything related to ultimate team for that matter. (Also I read your paragraph so don’t tell me to go read it.)

Simple question, since you think I'm out of line in defining an acronym: What does "NMS" stand for?
IKeys said:I'll. keep repeating... You dont have to "spend money" to build a significant MUT nest egg...
I'm married with 2 children, a full time job plus 2 side hustles... Meaning I have AT MOST 2 hours a day to play, many days just 1 hour and I have gone 3 weeks without picking up a controller at least TWICE since Madden 25 dropped (plus more shorter breaks of a week or less). I received the 4600 points from buying the Deluxe Edition and the 15 dollars for Season 3's Premium Field Pass (I instantly regretted this). Other than that. I have been NMS.
i made just under 300k from the 4600 points (most of it was Plat players I used for 2 or 3 weeks before quickselling). Those first 3 weeks all the coins I had were from grinding Challenges/Solo Battles/Solo Seasons then investing them into sets that gave me 1.5k - 2.5k profit per set. I'd list then play while waiting for them to sell and then reinvest. When I got over 1m, I started making investments (mostly buying players for cheap early in the week that would play on my team then selling them over the weekend for small profit).
Eventually I found 3 or 4 players that I could snipe for cheap and sell for profit overnight and rinsing and repeating (these 3 or 4 changed roughly every few weeks). Then Id go to the store; find deals that introduced a flood of certain cards into the market then go scoop as many of those cards as I could afford. Then wait 2 or 3 days and sell them for a tidy profit when supply dries up and they go back up in price.
Sometimes, I'd take a loss during a week. But I leaned on my experience trading forex and stocks: I always locked away a reserve I never touched (either as raw coins or LTD/Platinums). That way I always had capital if a deal presented itself and I was never in danger of blowing my account
It took me about a month to make my first 1m. I'm now at 14m with another 2m and I only recently moved into Legends in H2H. This is because I'm far from elite at playing the actual game (but Ive gotten better as the year goes). II've never played ranked, champs or gauntlet and I played 4 games of ZC MUT Draft (won 2). I say this to dispel the notion that I've stacked coins by winning games and getting SB rewards (my best run was going 8-0 then falling 1 game short earlier this week). I plan to be at 20m in COINS and 2-3m in Binder investments going into the SB promo.
My team is usually 90% BNDs and/or LTDs. But I spoiled myself over Christmas with a 95 OVR team (which I've now sold back). I plan to start spending coins during the SB Promo through Sugar Rush then Ultimate Legends & Golden Tickets. Ive played every other Madden since 21 (21, 23 and 25) and gotten better at this as I've gone along. If I can do it with my age, schedule and mediocre game play then 70-80% of you young guns can do MUCH better.
PS: I'm in a discord with several guys who have upwards of 30m coins and are true "No Money Spent". I'd love to hear from other NMS Players doing well. Also feel free to share tips, ask questions, etc. I'm sure the community will be glad to assist.

Some of us Work or Have Business and only play on weekends , We like to Spend money and All money spent team!
If i was kid playing all week yes ,would agree you can grind for coins!
But not correct for everyone!
I happy so throw few grand on something i like every year!
It's cool man.
It's all fun and it's all good, then one day you wake up and your account is F..ked by EA for sniping cards to use in sets.
I'm sick and tired of these bastards doing whatever they want to the players.
I swear that I will not spend another dime on EA and I will make it a family tradition to boycott these slithering a-holes for as long as my bloodline survives.

No money spent. I know, I get the fact that he spent money so technically he shouldn’t be able to use it. But the way you said it and ur just overall piece of crap attitude got me pissed off so I said something. but yeah whatever go tell people whatever you want

What did I say from which you inferred I was being malicious? I just don't like the blurring of truth in general. Most people don't, unless the blurring of truth makes their own ideals, desires, or actions more acceptable to themselves or others.
You're either from a place, or you're not. You either have a job, or you don't. You're either married or not. Appropriating "NMS" isn't high on anyone's list of capital offenses, but claiming you can be NMS and make coins easily obscures the fact that it's a lot harder to get from one coin to one million than it is to get from one million coins to ten million. And guys like the OP bought the first part in about a day. And then claim NMS isn't a substantial barrier to competition. That's where I throw the flag.
colonelangus08 said:You literally say "I'm not boasting about being NMS" and every comment is high roading you about not being "nms" lol. Most of the commenting part of the community can't read. You're dragging illiterate horses to a library. Some of us that can read, would be interested in your strategies. I find pockets of profit but haven't been able to come up with anything that works consistently.
Loll it's refreshing to see the few ppl who:
1. Actually took the time to READ my post
2. Properly comprehended it
3. Aren't so triggered that someone spent an extra 15 dollars when buying the original game
4. Don't believe they have a copyright protected franchise on the term "NMS" 😄
My principles (as you rightly deduced) were:
1. that you can generate coins easily without spending on packs
2. That you can do this without spending your entire life in front of the console
My extra 15 dollars got me 200k+ coins in Platinums. I still have a few of those cards in my binder TODAY. So they didn't give me a head start in generating coins.
Also I didn't play online till a few weeks ago. I was almost at 10m then. So it didn't give me a leg up with my team.
Finally to prove my point, there are a few ppl who posted here saying they're "tee-total NMS virgins" (😆) and have even MORE coins than I do. So #ItCanBeDone

This is a wild guess so I could be wrong.
Your wild guess is not just WRONG, it's flat out projecting 😏. Not everyone thinks like you buddy. I'm in my 40s (meaning I don't need validation from a mostly younger community of gamers) and life is GREAT.
I'm also a life-long trainer/teacher. I've taught in schools, being a life-coach, consultant and even a seminary lecturer 😎. It's in my nature to try help people figure out things especially when I USED to struggle in the same area.
I kept reading posts on this site where SO many ppl cried about bot being able to build a decent team without spending their life-savings. So I figured I'd write a post with a provocative title and hopefully some of the people I want to.help would read it.
I also guessed they'd be some highly strung and tightly wound dudes like you who'd come for me but I could care less.
Finally I included an invitation in my OP to others with even better results than me to chime in. But I guess it strokes my ego to read people who are even more adept at something than me right?
Your last paragraph seems like a self-reflection to me. Would you like me to recommend a good therapist to help you work through it? 🤔🤪😏
alphacathedral31 said:Everybody roasting you for saying NMs when buying the deluxe version 😂😂. I mean nobody can claim to be NMS then because they spent money on the standard version?!?!?
Lol... There's hope for humanity 😎. You get it 😏. But I'm.enjoying reading people project their emotional issues. I have a few therpaist friends I could recommend them 😄
googanaba said:Man, you NMS purists are intense!

We definitely don't lol. But some of them could use a good therapist
chotchbag said:I whole heartedly agree that it’s possible to earn coins. However I disagree that it’s possible to grind the game casually and field a competitive team as you could in years past. Imo this is the worst year of MUT in the history of the game mode. Halved player base cuz of CUT. 99s and 0 APabilities at all 22 positions in December. Paywall Field PASSES. The last 100 players I’ve matched up against have 98 overall teams. I haven’t seen a single 93 overall opponent. MUT is finally cooked I think after years and years of being on life support. I’ve played for 10+ years. I’m not one of those guys who complains about the general game either. I love madden. But I’m taking a break from MUT next year. This is rediculous.
You don't need a god-squad to compete against god-squads... Might just do another forum (hopefully with less whiny comments) about this...😄
UltimateEarner said:I remember the deluxe edition selling for the same price as the standard edition on the PSN store a month after the game dropped for a limited time. In that scenario, you would be able to say that a player is nms, imo.
Lol which is how I bought mine buddy. I just couldn't be bothered to explain this to the whinnies in here. I played the Trial for the first few days then packed it in and then bought the actual game on a sale.
Not sure if it was the exact same sale but it was about 5 dollars or so more than the Standard Edition (if memory serves)
