Hmmm Tank eh. I’ve definitely used it before, but kind of only comes into play when the user tries to hit stick you? Pocket deadeye is tough to give up man. Perfect accuracy while Throwing from the pocket which is like 90%+ of my passes.

I used to use pocket deadeye up until a few days ago. I literally spent 1 hour with my QB in practice mode and don't need it anymore. It was so easy I couldn't believe it. Now I save my 6 ap from deadeye and am running 4 O linemen with secure proctor and GS on vick. That was my game changer just a little practice and now able to beef the line up much more and has paid off for sure.

I got rid of pocket passer recently too. If you’re lucky enough to snag it, the Pocket Passer Epic strategy card (+3 DAC, +3 MAC, +3 SAC, & +1 THP) definitely makes it a little easier

Absolutely. I was able to pull 3 of them. Kept one and sold the others. That one definitely seems to be the most expensive.

Indoor Baller doesn't do anything for me, it still only activates after two 10-yard+ runs.

This is the way -- our OC (in Squads) has been running Vick, with 14AP (always-active) passive Freight Train since the Zero Chill ability discounts melted away and OOOH boy, is that sure worth the ability point investment. Absolutely love it.
Caleb's release is so elite, i haven't wanted (nor missed) Gunslinger... not one bit. I'm still using 11AP velocity (SFL) and plan to control the accuracies via timing my passes with that lightning fast release style. YMMV, but i concur -- although it can be extremely frustrating to defend someone who is committed to the run game. One of the very few similarities between Madden and actual fatball, especially come playoff time. If you were to spend ~20 minutes an evening in Practice Mode (Offense only), before long, you'll have Caleb's release timing mastered to the point where you can reliably blue-time ("perfect" release) at least half of your passes, which would potentially free up another 6AP to use on whatever you desire.

HAAAA, great minds... wish i had read yer (second) message in this thread before i hammered out my reply. Could not agree more, wasting AP on various Deadeye can be a bit of a skill gap thing.
I went through it last cycle just over a full year ago, from Baker to Josh Allen (around Zero Chill time, M25) -- took me nearly a full week to adjust to how quick Joshy's QB Release style was. I legit thought his card was terrible, until i invested the necessary time to get accustomed to that... before quickly realizing that the problem was ME. That is such a terrific recommendation and one of the things that helped my MUT-life most, learning the various QB releases and getting comfortable with the timing. For any newer players, make sure you are using Placement & Accuracy passing mechanic. 7/20 with Small (or None) Pass Lead increase is a fantastic place to start.

I noticed that with vick. Had frozen gambit on him with indoor baller and still took 3 +5 yard completions not 2.

Man I'm scared to let go of gunslinger. But 7 ap spread elsewhere sounds good too.

Aye, 7/20 is the default setting, which is great for most people and widely regarded as the sweet spot, by Comp guys, giving players a balance of control and speed. I may actually be on 6/20, not entirely certain as of this exact moment in time.
The Reticle Speed (slider 1–20) determines how quickly the aiming crosshair moves across the field when you move the Left Stick. If it's too low, you can't move the reticle far enough to sufficiently lead your receiver AWAY from defenders. If it's too high, you end up with wild overthrows. Hope that helps.
