Offense Wins In MUT 26 (Not Defense)

Defense wins Championships, that's what the late great Paul Bryant said, But in MUT 26 ATM, it's anything but. With WR abilities (Route Tech, I/o elite) now caught up to CB abilities(KOs) , So defense has realistically gone extinct due to them catering to the obsolete players to close the skill gap. I have stopped worrying about the defensive side of the ball, I occasionally get a Turnover or a stop, But even with a 98 OVR defense, it still will not suffice, My AP setup, my anything, Apart from ROH Sean T atm with his momentum shift, defense is genuinely hard in ranked, and the events.

 If you have any tips to have a better defense, I need them, or this is just my opinion.

I'd agree. But this mostly in playoffs and superbowl or when you're about to win a h2h event. Some opponents have master situational football and you don't have time to adjust in certain situations.

If you're expecting to give up points no matter what, do something random and crazy. Shut down one-dimensional runs (if you get the RNG that favors making successful tackles), and adjust zone drops to put defenders where the opponent isn't expecting them.

If your opponent is one-dimensional on defense, you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping up as long as you manage the clock well.

Exactly… it’s just a huge cluster of bullcrap on defense… waste as much time as possible on O.

I suppose the best counter for this is to alter zone drops to snuff out short-yardage, clock-eating plays. You’d just better be ready to put your money where your mouth is when you’ve got the ball after coughing up a quick score.

I don’t run either, but I’m also not gonna complain when someone does. It literally takes 2 adjustments to box both of those plays..

Of course, and since we are abandoning all common sense, realistic play, and laws of physics in the game, maybe I can have my linebacker start sacking the quarterback by kicking Koopa Shells at him, just like in Mario Bros. Just need to know the magic combination of button presses to activate the glitch.
