NFL Honors is probably coming up after the Super Bowl. In MUT 24 it released on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, two days after the Super Bowl.
Finalists for MVP this year include:
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills QB
Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles RB
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals QB
Jared Goff, Detroit Lions QB
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens QB
I don't trust the AP to make genuinely good football assessments. More than football acumen, stats and eye-candy mean everything, the latter of which favors Jackson. I've ceased caring about these awards.
I will do any thing for Josh Allen to get it

unless the voting people want to make history i believe Lamar will be the MVP. Im not saying that Saquon can't win it but every QB to ever win MVP was a First Team All-Pro, which Lamar is. Its either Lamar or Saquon for MVP, also votes have been in since the end of Week 18.

Saquon won't get it, even though he didn't set a season yards-from-scrimmage record only because he helped his team win enough games for him to be kept inactive for week 18. He needed that for the MVP award, as it's the only thing that would have swayed AP votes.
For comparison's sake, Hurts had almost as many rushing touchdowns this year (14) as Barkley had from rushing and receiving combined (13, 2). It's tough when your quarterback is vulturing so many goal line touches. Unless you have an all-time year at runningback, you simply don't get noticed for MVP voting. You need huge yardage and huge TD's to have a shot, and Barkley got only one of those.
The comparison is probably down to Jackson and Allen, and while Allen is the superior quarterback (and it's not close), Jackson is more fun to watch, and that's what matters to the guys with the votes.

Not sure why you say that since every single betting site has him at -250 to -470 as the odds-on favorite to win. Lamar is +200 to +320.

every Qb to ever win MVP was first team all-pro, unless the voters changed their mind very quickly I think Lamar is winning it.

Every recent QB yes. Elway/Montana were some exceptions to this.
Vegas says Lamar is going to win, so I fully expect Lamar to win.
I HOPE they dont mess up that program as badly as they did last year. I looked forward to Honors Lamar for MONTHS, all for them to completely jack up the premise of the program, and make his card completely unusable w/ his ability stack. I hope and pray they don't repeat that.
I'd rather him be a LTD and cost 6 million coins, then have a horrible set card that has junk abilities.

i didn't know that, I had heard it was every QB.
nice, didn't know that.
yeah, I was too just to be crushed by how bad he was. agree, I'd rather pay 5 mil with good abilities than 200k for a trash stack

I hope it is someone who's team is still in contention for the Super Bowl!
MVP of the League for a team that is on vacation seems worthless.

That could be true, but Vegas doesn't agree. They all think that Josh Allen is the favorite.
