Football IQ is not the sole determiner of whether you can stop certain plays. In many cases, players will not respond to adjustment inputs in peculiar situations. In other cases, glitchy AI persistently causes defenders to react improperly from their assigned zones. YouTube-watching MUTniks with little more than zero football IQ have been clearly shown how to glitch for yards and points. For the five inputs it takes to execute cheese, it takes the defense about fifteen to cover the two or three cheesy plays the defensive user most anticipates. This is not good.
Again, go back and re-read my post. If you still think I'm a bum, think what you want, but I've outlined my position clearly. I'm playing with ten guys that suffer from persistent amnesia, evidently have profound hearing loss, and are legally blind.
Don’t think your a bum as i don’t know you or your play style. I was referring to a part of the community that thinks the game should be played for them. While I can somewhat see your vision I also think that adaptive ai would go quite poorly and at the end of the day people will find a way to exploit that as well. Good user skills and knowledge can stop anything consistently with the occasional bs animation but that’s just video games. I don’t know what your playing against that requires 15 inputs to stop as most plays take 3-5 if not less adjustments to stop at the highest level of madden. Take Mtn y post as an example this is one of the plays that has been complained about the most this year an easy way to stop it is shaded down cover 4 1 input man your user to the slot 2 and switch stick to the hard flat on the opposite side of the te. Winning in this game should take a mixture of football knowledge, game knowledge, and user skills. Things like running with vanguard and angry runs are also bum friendly as it takes zero thought just watch the defense get layed out and run. There are real glitches like the stem glitch or the roll out glitch but passing out of certain formations is not a glitch or cheating and a player should not be punished because they’re opponent can’t stop something. I personally think they should make a separate game mode more simulation based with less rewards so non sim players are less inclined to play it, this way everyone has something and the game doesn’t get ruined for anybody. Im interested in what you have to say because you’re obviously coming from a simulation perspective while I’m thinking from a competitive perspective.

It should take stick skills, and beyond that, only football knowledge, not having to decipher Madden-babble. And when I speak of fifteen inputs, I'm trying to stop multiple types of cheese, and not just coin-flipping on one play.
I spent most of a year trying to build a team, and I deserve a fair shot at earning better players without being subject to outright cheating. Hiding the sim guys in regs is not a legitimate solution, unless you think it's cool that regs guys don't deserve the opportunity to 'build', which is the entire reason I'm here.
I accept that cheating will net my collective opponents the bulk of the wins (and I'll steal a few games after disarming the weaker cheaters). The sheer number of users that resort to cheating drives away casuals so that days into a new promo, there's nothing but cheaters left in the Win-[x]-Games-in-a-Row modes.

Once the cheaters have tapped out the maximum rewards for a mode, they go off to battle for the Limburger Trophy in Champs or Ranked (the latter of which I never spent a moment this year, knowing full well the scum I'd run into). So in those cases, the grind continues in tiers, with cheaters peeling out of the mode like an onion. Those are great.
There were a couple of House Rules this year where I continued to play after I had run through all of the rewards, as it gave me a solid chance to lab against live players.
But this House Rules is just horrid. It's probably worse now because so many of the casuals are already fully burned out on MUT after falling far behind in the arms race months ago.

I'm not going to argue over the philosophy of what forms of cheating aren't really cheating. If you can make players get wide open by just being, you're exploiting the game's code. And there are dozens of things like that in the game.
I thought you said the game should take skill. Where is the skill in throwing to guys that are as wide open as some of these guys consistently get?

If players are wide open it’s because of an error on your part there is no play that gets people open by just being. The skill in this games is user, switch stick, and knowledge. If I run cover 3 the seam is vulnerable, If I run cover 2 I’ll get torched deep sideline. If somebody is getting wide open every play you’re doing something wrong and your opponent is taking advantage of that not “exploiting the game”,They’re exploiting you. I will agree that people that run and rpo with vanguard are annoying but there are ways to deal with that as well everything. There is a counter to everything and if you don’t want to learn what those counters are there is nothing wrong with that but expect to get beat.

The current game is far from a competitive game, no one wants to learn how to actually incorporate football principles. The game is still on a very old and out dated engine and it makes glitching out AI the go to for people, that is not being competitive. So many players are relying on abilities to get wins at this point in the game now it’s actually sad.
A true competitive game would have zero or very very limited abilities, hence when they have tournaments it’s before abilities get crazy.
But it’s not about learning the game you shouldn’t have to do a bunch of different adjustments to stop something you know is coming, know in real life a hard flat, man deep zone etc would stop but the AI won’t react or at the very least be in the spot so I can switch to them ex. Deep zones this year just get lost I’ve seen them standing out of bounce some games.
Issue is they made it pay to win so if you changer rewards that are good with out spending money People rather glitch out the game and run the same thing over and over just to win knowing it’s not even fun should be easier to get good players for everyone

No, man, you have no idea apparently. I get to control one player, and I can switch stick to a dude way out of position (and sometimes get the guy I wanted). I know how zone schemes work. And of course, I don't mean literally every play, but often enough that there's always that one-shot cheese play to bail a dedicated cheeser out of 4th and 12 from their own 18. Man is usually worthless, and guys run plays where offensive players run illegal, unflagged picks that leave defenders trailing by many yards if the pressure doesn't get home.
And since I'm not exploiting loop blitzes and crowding the line with guys that dumb out my opponent's offensive line, my rush doesn't usually get home.

If you can only switch to one guy during a play that’s a skill issue I can switch between 3-4 players in a play if needed although it usually is not. You have to be calling match or man constantly to get beat deep or have dbs from October because the only time players end up trailing for me and most people I play with is when somebody presses or botches an adjustment. I’m not claiming to be the greatest player because i’m not and I don’t want to come across as a dick but I’ve played the game a decent amount and played horrible players and mcs pros and all the things you describe sound like skill or knowledge issues that you use cheating as a cop out for.
