I miss NFL draft mode so much
Draft mode was so elite
I think I went like 55-6
Less abilities, not playing against the same thing every single game
Made like 4 mil

Who can we get with the showdown token? Wondering if i should save it. Although last time I saved, I still have a showtime showdown purple token and I missed the boat on using it and now it's worth noting. Bird in the hand...

The way to fix it is to never have Win-[x]-games-in-a-row as a requirement, because it incentivizes unsportsmanlike play, everything counter to “Fair Play”.

Need more variety in the game and not everyone on YT searching “best offense and defense in madden 25”
Agreed brother

Exactly this. Make it a mix of stats or games played and only allow you to use the same play twice a half.
Anybody else not get the “additional 97+ TTS pack” when you completed it? I redeemed my token for Pat but didnt get those additional packs.
How do you have the time and patience? Bravo 👏 . It's a cesspool I can't stand it.

I'm actually against capping the number of times a play can be called, but I also believe that if a player does keep calling the same play, the defenders should react as if they attended, were awake for, and understood what was going on during the film study session. When the same guy keeps getting open against the same defender on the same route thrown to the same spot, or when the same blitzer keeps owning the same offensive tackle with the same move from the same alignment, it should be for one of only two reasons: The losing side has badly schemed a mismatched but otherwise capable player into a disadvantaged position, or the losing player isn't intelligent or capable enough to play football. At the video game level, there is a third reason: The game needs to be recoded.
Any need to artificially cap the number of instances a play can be called arises from an inability to fix a play that is already broken in the number of instances it was already originally executed. All the cap does is effectively force a user to choose from a half-dozen or dozen other broken plays.
In football, there's no such thing as a play that gets you free yards. You have to earn every inch. If the game isn't coded to duplicate the way football works in practice, it won't be good no matter how you restrict the user.
i’ve won a total of 3 games to many blitzers
I haven't gotten to 6 yet but I'm trying. Have hit 4 and 3 a few times

Are you only doing this because of midblitz or was that your game plan all along?

Are you kidding? He's not holding back on defense either. He told us all: He cheeses because the game incentivizes it.

If you keep getting beat by the same thing it’s on you to adjust and stop it not the game. If I play somebody that can’t guard one play i will run it till they stop it but most competent players can make an adjustment or 2 and make you switch it up. Bad players just wanna come out in stock defense every play and complain when they get beat and call everything “cheese”. The game is already bum friendly enough as it is the last thing it needs is the ai adjusting for you.

Lol my bad. I was just wondering if he implemented that lineup as a response to what he was facing or if that was his plan all along. If it's the latter then I don't understand the point of the post. Because it seemed like he was criticizing guys that cheese on defense but he is doing the same thing on offense anyway

Agreed to a point. As I mentioned in my response (did you read it?), if you scheme badly, you deserve to get burned by the same play again and again. But that's not why a lot of us get burned by the same play again and again. Go back and re-read what I wrote. I'm not bum friendly. I actually find the game falls grossly short of the full set of coaching options to deal decisively with the stuff I get destroyed by game after cheesy, sweaty game.
Football IQ is not the sole determiner of whether you can stop certain plays. In many cases, players will not respond to adjustment inputs in peculiar situations. In other cases, glitchy AI persistently causes defenders to react improperly from their assigned zones. YouTube-watching MUTniks with little more than zero football IQ have been clearly shown how to glitch for yards and points. For the five inputs it takes to execute cheese, it takes the defense about fifteen to cover the two or three cheesy plays the defensive user most anticipates. This is not good.
Again, go back and re-read my post. If you still think I'm a bum, think what you want, but I've outlined my position clearly. I'm playing with ten guys that suffer from persistent amnesia, evidently have profound hearing loss, and are legally blind.
