I use at least one hammer every day

Yes it is haha

Every Mid-Blitzer, or just the ones who do it wrong? I see people who are absolutely incompetent at it, but when people complain about Mid Blitz, they're not talking about the guys that you can burn with out routes, or the guys you can beat by just keeping in an extra blocker and making your reads correctly. They're talking about the guys that glitch through the line rushing only three out of Double Mug, while hanging up your receivers with aggressive press coverage and getting constant knockouts on anything within ten yards of the line of scrimmage.
Same with stretch spamming. You'll come across guys that just do it wrong, but then with a win or two to go for an Event Champion Token you'll be up against a Michael Vick RB run spammer and not be able to make tackles even when you know what's coming.
I feel like the garbage I encounter is persistently minimized as "beatable", but like any skill, a user's adeptness at cheating is the primary determiner of whether they are consistently successful. Just because some people are bad at cheating doesn't mean cheating isn't at times virtually unstoppable.

You are correct, and I was merely using "mid-blitz" as an example. Some players can run mid-blitz with a cover 3 or cover 4 adjustments on the back-end and absolutely lock down my offense. I have a little respect for those types as they understand adjustments and aren't just copying a youtube video. The other types that I'm referring to...they copy one video and that video doesn't have a part 2 to explain what to do when someone knows how to counter, so they just call the same thing over and over while getting their teeth kicked in.

Just played some guy running a blitz up the middle with simulated pressure from his user. All I had to do was press “untarget defender” for my blocking running back and his blitz got nowhere near me. He quit after I made it 24-7. Felt so good to beat his no-skilled, cheesy ass

From an outside perspective, I agree with both sides, you are saying that people complaining about those things are just not good enough at the game and should learn how to stop the “meta”, on the other hand these people are not arguing that there is a problem with the code or other things it’s that certain players simply base their entire play style off of the “meta” and in a way exploiting the areas of the code that are weakest. Both have a fair point, and both are also biased takes. This is a stupid argument. In my opinion, If losing to the “meta” makes you this upset then you should stop playing the game for your own good, and on the contrary, if you are not a professional madden player making a living from playing the game, and the only thing on the game you do is run the “meta” then you are a sheep and are just wasting your own brain power. Madden wins don’t last forever.

Whether it was your fault or not, the fact this stuff is so easily abused is why my H2H time has went down probably 95% this game. People can scream "skill issue" until they're blue in the face, but this stuff isnt football. I occasionally mix in stunts on passing downs to keep people honest, but until 4 man fronts can get consistent pressure we'll continue to see this in games.

EXCELLENT perspective! I'm one of the people that cry about the cheaters. I agree with this 100%
