Because, in general, the Xfactor and ability stack they give Season cards doesn't match up to the other cards.  Granted I did use Cam Ward for quite a while as a Season card but that was before Xfactors and abilities meant much earlier in the season.

I’ve never understood the complaints on these 32 team chem cards for the season pass. I’ve played every season and at least one of the season pass players has done really well every season.

Appreciate the response/info.  That makes sense, especially for the people that play online/competitively and x-factors/abilities matter more.  I'm an offline casual player so as long as his basic attributes are solid and I can add a couple useful (to me) abilities I'm happy.  Even more happy that he's free and I have enough season tickets to max him out right away.

I'm indifferent to the all 32 team chems - I run a Patriots theme team so I only have current/former Patriots players in my primary lineup  - I do have a separate lineup for promos that I insert the minimum number of cards to complete objectives for XP.

32 team chems don't really affect me one way or the other.

Im same page as you, dont get the hate for season cards.

Going off what we've got so far this year, I've found the season cards to be very usable for the season they are released in

I get wanting a "special" card with cool artwork, but if they went that route, he'd probably be an LTD, and unobtainable for 90% of the players

They usually are good but this one is different because us patriots fans been waiting awhile for a maye card and now we will see him on a falcons theme team

Drake Maye shouldn't have some season pass card that will NEVER be the best QB in the game and run of the mill once playoffs promo starts. I don't need to see the stats to know that will be the case.

Drake SHOULD have a rare dominant card. I'd say all of this just the same if it were Stafford in question.

He’ll get garbage abilities / no ability discounts.

My guess is he is ticketed for a team of the year card and this is the card to tide folks over.
