DDA Crazier Than Ever

I have found ways to win this year, but this year DDA is crazier than ever. I have never played so many people who can just sit in man to man coverage and watch as their players blanket every variety of routes. They will be in the middle of the field running in circles while each and every cornerback looks better than prime Deion Sanders. I knew with the introduction of the super-win shading system this would happen, but it is even worse than I thought.

What makes it the worst of all, is you will see the great minds of this game actively shading their players the incorrect direction while they attempt to cover the wrong thing, and their CPU Defender will ignore the incorrect shading and lock down the other route.

It is so meticulous to work your way down the field vs this type of DDA. I just wonder how Clint Oldenburg can possibly think we don't know about DDA, and how he can practice being a bold-faced liar about it. By the way, if you think the same doesn't go for your MUT packs you're dead wrong. They will rig your account whichever which way they think will get you to spend the most money. With these recent step offers, it is at an all-time low.

Stop doing the step offers! We can't make Clint stop rigging the game, but we can at least not give them money for being completely dishonest liars.

Edit: If you do not think DDA exists, you would be better off not wasting your time commenting because there absolutely no planet where I will be taking you seriously.

wish i could sit in man, everytime i run man i get fucking toasted and it makes no sense, i got travis hunter, 88 carlton davis and 87 talib, and i get fucking fried everytime.

If you're getting worked in man or letting man work you it's usually because you don't understand how the tier ratings work.

Unfortunately I wish it was that simple. Ratings do not really matter at all once the DDA kicks in and the computer decides you are going to be covered on every route. Unless of course you think it makes sense that my opponent from yesterday's CPU controlled 82 OVR Nakobe Dean should be locking up man beating route on Mark Andrews with Matchup Nightmare.

or AJ Hawk (no abilities) should be locking up Unstoppable Justin Jefferson with deep out elite, on multiple deep routes. (cpu controlled again).

Let me know about the ratings issues I was having there please!

I agree that EA puts their thumb on the scale (call it DDA or whatever)...my question (seriously...not just trying to be a pain)...have you ever noticed (or admitted) DDA working in your favor?  Many of the DDA posts I see are from folks who note how it works against them (which is a fair point), but rarely do I see any one admit that it has also helped them.  As for me...I tend to get way more "breaks" that I didn't earn...so DDA or whatever we call it...for sure has resulted in some of my best plays.

There's a pretty simple explanation on how he's locking you up with a player with much lower ratings. He's predicting the route and shading correctly. I think many users don't get that you can predict routes and shade on individual receivers, and good players make sure to do that where they see poor matchups. I'm someone who plays a lot of man and right now the goal is to make sure MCV hits 90 on all DBs except FS who I usually have in a zone. This guarantees that currently I'm not getting out-routed by any receiver in the game as there is no receiver that can get to tier 95 on any route type yet. Furthermore, if I do get a linebacker or my FS matched up with someone with a 90 tier where I don't have one, I start watching that player, what routes they run and then predict and shade correctly. I don't buy into this Madden skewing the game, we all are playing the exact same game. Now do I think they try to keep games closer when there's a blowout, the AI might adjust a bit, DEFINITELY, but that's only to try and avoid blowouts, which if there's a serious skill gap, that still won't help. If Madden really wants to get better and more competitive, step one is to cut down on hot routing, Madden has become a  clusterfuck of presnap adjustments which just isn't how football works. The whole idea of play calling is that is supposed to be the chess match, not looking at how you lineup and then adjusting every single route/protection or coverage/blitz. The NFL would be filled with Rocket Scientists playing QB and LB if that was the case lol. As a Top 100 player, when I play other top 100 players, it's the most boring shit ever, it's not even football. Go look at the current top 100 list, sort by avg plays called per game, I'm #1 at 13, most of them are between 1 and 3 because they just want the formation and then change EVERY SINGLE THING. Anyways, focus on tiers and learning how to adjust individual coverage and scheme individual routes and you'll do better.

all the time, even when i shade inside, theyll watch a crosser run across them before following. defense in this game is literally driving me crazy, i feel like the only way to play it rn is to run the meta youtube defenses that get instant sacks, cuz everyone knows once it hits 4th down, its gonna be a first down when they bomb you no matter the yards, i just had a kid agg both hunter and derwin james on 4th and 21 to get possesion at the 3. i wanna scream

BRROOOO dont even mention 4th down, I forced a 4th and 38 and got dunked on by matthew golden LMAOOOO. im so scared of 4th downs in this game. like what do u even run man cover 4 drop ??? it all gets fried on 4th. only hope is to blitz
