The fact that EA allows overpowered plays to remain a part of their product is a key detail assailing their legitimacy as an E-gaming entity.
I'm not interested in debating with you or anyone else whether or not gaining an unfair advantage by performing an illegal act is or is not cheating. Only a semanticist with sympathies for Machiavelli would attempt to justify unsportsmanlike actions rehearsed carefully to circumvent a referee's scrutiny because 'both parties can do it'. Cheating doesn't become legitimate merely because either party may elect to cheat.

Are you seriously comparing "swerve" with "jockeying for the ball"? Shoving isn't the only thing that constitutes pass interference. Read the freakin' rule book, and stop justifying palpably unfair acts.
Respect phatalerror, but really I'm just looking for solutions. EA isn't reading this forum, so it's like complaining into the abyss. All is fair in this game if everyone can do it. I'm just trying to stop some of it, so the dude on the other side starts throwing his controller over me shutting it down.

palpably unfair acts absolutely does not apply to what is LITERALLY moving for position.
if that is pass interference in the nfl, why are heavier receivers better at catching goal line fades?

I usually don’t click on and spam swat and it helps. Also, generally this works more against man coverage, so having either zone coverage, or a zone backup can help

That is false WRs can not put there body into the DB and push them away, also if they did this in real life it wouldn’t work they would most likely fall running that fast but in madden physics don’t exist, even though they claim the game is built around it 😂

Best bet would be to have two deep safety’s and make that your user. So as they push the one guy away to the pass lead to the inside you can be there with the other player and he would throw it right to you. You shouldn’t get PI but it is EA.
EA definitely needs to fix the Pi in the game at times it’s clear as day won’t get called. Others I’m sitting there covering with my user if the wr is in some type of sit route. All of a sudden if he moves it becomes a PI call if he touches you.
Yea, good call. I run a hybrid zone man scheme and the guy was def taking advantage of the single coverage side. Might start usering the safety in that setup. What was crazy was even in some zone setups he was able to pass lead towards the sideline and swerve me off. Anyway, appreciate the tips. Hope I run in to another, so I can scheme it up better.

Going for a jump ball is completely different then basically shoulder checking the DB like what is happing in the game, they call picks all the time in the NFL if you bump into a CB.
Stop trying to justify using a clear glitch, it’s essentially the same as a push off but it’s madden so it’s not showing the WRs arm as straight but that’s what this is
