You could answer the latter question for yourself: Physics combined with the physical strength of the receiver dictates that it's harder for a defender to be both subtle and effective with the handfighting that is permitted. SUBTLE is the operative word here.

Don't even begin to compare swerving to your example. That's not at all what permissible contact looks like in the NFL. Defenders get moved almost two yards clear of their line in Madden. That's absolute garbage, and would be flagged every time in the league by the most inexperienced and inattentive of officials.

😂 you must not watch and definitely ever played football. You’re part of the problem you don’t play the game because you’re a true football fan. So you play it like a clown to win no matter what, even if it’s a clear glitch. 

Instead of play it like real football like John madden intended, he must be rolling in his grave with what this game has become

okay, what’s the subtle version in madden? If it’s not there, the rougher version doesn’t bother me

I watch every Steelers game and probably 25% of the bears games. I watch DK metcalf make contact with DBs to make space. Madden is less subtle about it, but I don’t give a flying fuck if people click on to get position and I don’t get why I should

Lmao you don’t understand football clearly at all if you think that’s what’s happening, getting into position for a pick is completely different then intentionally bumping into the CB to “PUSH” them away. 

When you know it’s a PI call on offense but the game code is not registering it and even worse calling it on the defense. That is called a glitch it’s not real football it’s a clown way to play and when it gets fixed you will still be bad at the game

I don’t even do it - I throw small pass lead streaks against man, which is mildly different. 

I just think whining about people throwing a ball that won’t get called as a penalty and calling it cheating is stupid

I don’t care about the argument one way or another but I will say if you are running the swerve properly, you aren’t “bumping” into anyone. You are taking the trailing cb out of position and moving back in just before the catch. As I said in a way earlier post, best way to defend it is to take control of the cb as early as possible to avoid getting moved out of the route. It’s terrible programming, sure.

Because you have no problem cheating just as the other hyper-competitive users do. And then you justify it by saying your opponents do it too, or by trying to misrepresent Madden's version of an illegal act in football as a merely primitive representation of a legal act in football. (There is a controller-operated maneuver to 'grab' at receivers that you can do for a moment without drawing a flag. 'Swerving' accomplishes far more disruption without drawing a flag when performed 'correctly'.)

I don’t even think you know what the original post was, 1 he didn’t cry about he asked how to stop it which I gave advice on a good way to, as did others. 

2. He said the person was basically doing it every play either causing the cb to get pushed out the way allowing for an easy catch or he was getting called for PI  when he wasn’t even usering that player. That is the biggest issue showing a clear bug in the game

You say it’s cheating, I say it’s a crude approximation. Given that it’s fully legal within the game, I know it isn’t cheating. Words have meanings

Yo! The game is what it is. It’s coded, done. I’m not getting into the morality of how the game should play. I just want to play my style, but also shut down exploits. That is all. This is my chess. When I play an opponent who’s got something cooking me, I want to stop it. Appreciate the tips boys!
