I think this is it.  With sports legends that end too soon, we're always left with the taste of them in their prime and the imagination always wonders what if.  Bo is the epidemy of this, a generational talent that was like a super hero.  As a sports fan, I'm a gasp at talent that is head and shoulders above the rest, almost unworldly.  And Bo game all of us that can remember that super hero feeling.

That's all Bo is... what if. If we are going on what if... tebow is the best QB to ever strap up and Drew Henson us the best MLB ever. BO had a career .250 avg. in pro ball and a handful of 100 yard rushing games in the NFL. Deion was by far the better (actual) multi sport star. Even Bo would admit that. Bo is a fantasy legend because of imagination like kizer sosay and actual zero pro stats to back up the legend. Deion really did it and that is reality.

Wow, that's really missing the mark.  You clearly weren't around when Bo was.  Ignorance is bliss from your eyes.

Why though? I get he was a freak athlete and all. But he had EIGHT 100 yards games in his career.

No offense but how old are you?

I absolutely was around when Bo played college and pro and totally get the "super hero" effect he has. The reality though is he didn't accomplish anything exceptional in either pro sport... sure his career was cut short, but he was a career .250 hitter. There is literally thousands of baseball players better than that. I'm not knocking on Bo... I'm just more impressed with Deion as a multi sport player. Deion was a better baseball player and a better football player. Bo wasn't that astonishing in either sport as a pro... he was a freak athlete and because of the times stood out above most. Nowadays most elite running backs are that type of athlete. Do you think Tebow is a legend outside of college too? I guess I'm a minority to think in order to be considered a great pro you need to perform with great stats or it's nothing more than what ifs and imagine ifs. Bo was the freakier athlete, but Deion was the better pro. That's my opinion and I have debated this too many times, but I go off of what actually happened and not what could or should have happened. Vick got way more attention than Lamar and Lamar is a way better QB than Vick ever was... some guys just get that attention. Legend has it that Bo ran a 4.1 40 and if you believe that there is no reasoning with people like that.

Their is also no Walter Payton I‘m hoping he gets an ultimate legend and the fact that you people are arguing about if Bo Jackson should have a card or not is crazy he was going to make the hall of fame if it wasn’t for that stupid injury and deserves a card every year

Bo’s a great player, but I wish they would only give him RB cards instead of playing him at safety or QB. He’s a versatile player, but not that versatile.

Stats don't lie... Bo isn't even close to a top 100 NFL player and Deion is the best CB ever by a good amount. Same dumbasses who think Bo was great thinks Mahomes and Brady are the best QBs ever. Ask any coach or player who's been around and Bo isn't in any great NFL player conversation. Bo wasn't even good at MLB baseball either... GTFO

Great thing about opinions is everyone is allowed their own

That's true, played 4 seasons and never rushed for 1,000 yards and never had more than 6td's.

Crazy to think he had mid-stats.

Old enough to understand that stats matter more than athleticism.

He also only played 4 years and is tied for most avg YPC in NFL history while sharing reps with Marcus Allen

People be selling him short because of his stats for no reason lol
