knowing how the market works doesn't negate tax. you just start sniping/ buying & selling like you would do with any other card.

I did it. Profited about 1.2M. Do the 95 Honorable Mention set first and then use those cards to build the 97s.
Cizzle said:I think that defensive set has 13x97. 5 mil is gonna be very tough. You need a very good snipe on every card. And when you sell you lose tax. You probably need around 8 mil from start to finish when you buy and sell back after each set. And these players are probably around 2-3mil at most maybe even less when a lot of people do the sets. And thats probably the amount you will lose on tax when you do the whole thing. I'm not gonna do them. Sets is not fun for me and it's hard to guess when you start how it's gonna shake out. I think as usual just sniping and selling back makes you the most coins. EA kinda killed sets the last few years. You used to make easy coins especially when you got bnds back with them you could use for your team.
I ended up waking up sick, so I took a MUT day. I started off with a Zack Baun on the 20-tokens TOTY, and went to work on the defense first, doing the Honorable Mentions set concurrently. I had to go to the well of obsolete LTD's to infuse 1.05 coins into my coinstack, meaning I had as much as 5.3 million outstanding on TOTY items. I finished all four sets and cleared just under a million for Garrett. I'm at 4.4 million and expecting to add another three million on the outstanding TOTY sales. I really didn't use much binder stuff. Just got good snipes and built profitable sets to complete the collection sets.
It was time consuming, but not difficult. As always, had to fight the impulse to fire-sale in order to recharge for the next set.
I enjoyed this so much last night and this morning. Scored my random BND reward as a TT player in AJ Brown and scored my favorite player LTD in Coop for the MVVP, sold him for 1.928 million and bought his SB LTD. Made out with +2.5 million from this set and had a lot of window fun. Something that hasn't been easy in this years Madden.
For those that have a reasonably sized coin stack and are tired of the same sweats to make coins, this was thoroughly enjoyable albeit a little risk.
its worth it you get all your players back and you get a mvvp card
I wasnt going to do it at first but I was bored so I went for it today. unfortunately got Aubrey out of the MVVP pack so that kind of screwed me. ending up "losing" 900k coins but I kept mailata (who I got from the 20 token set), kept juicecheck, got BND Warner, and fully upgraded tj watt. could have been better but could have been way worse. overall im happy getting 3 really good players for pretty cheap in the end.
