It wasn't on the schedule, but a new program called "Ultimate Upgrade" was revealed that is targeted to go live alongside Super Bowl Part 1 at 1:30pm ET on Thursday, January 29th. Previously released player items are receiving new upgradeable items that can reach 95 OVR. Check out an overview of how the program works and the new player items below:
How It Works
- Exchange the Ultimate Upgrade Player's original player item in a set to receive the Ultimate Upgrade version.
- Use Ultimate Upgrade Tokens from the Store to increase the player's OVR to 88 OVR, 91 OVR, 94 OVR, and 95 OVR (4 steps). It was not mentioned how much the tokens will cost or which currency will be used.
