True fans of the game know you can't celebrate related players in the NFL without the legendary Matthews family, which is why today's new release includes father Bruce Matthews and his son Jake. Bruce played 19 seasons in the NFL from 1983 until 2001, all for the Houston Oilers, who would move to Tennessee and become the Titans during Matthews' career. Somehow, Bruce never missed a single game due to injury throughout his 19 years in the NFL.
Bruce's son Jake was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons 6th overall in the 2014 NFL Draft after a successful 4-year collegiate career at Texas A&M. Jake would receive Pro Bowl honors after the 2018 regular season and can still be found starting at offensive tackle for the Falcons today.
The LTD version of each player is 94 OVR while the Champion version is 93 OVR. Champions will be in packs for the rest of the year, while LTDs can only be pulled from packs until 1pm ET on Wednesday, January 1st.
