My name is not my gamertag. I was #3 in the world H2H Madden 23', which is 100x harder than placing in the top 400-500 on Ranked. I've made top 100 in ranked before. You may impress these other guys but not me lol.

Dudes a weirdo. Read his old posts. He thought because he barely made the top 100 he was going to come to Mut.gg and get the superstar treatment but nobody cares. He has a twitch channel that no one watches. He's constantly crying for attention. 

You don't have to literally be top 100 to get top 100 prizes. He's probably top 500 via playing a lot of games. Essentially no lifing Madden. Pathetic.

I definitely understand your perspective and It is unfortunate that is your angle. Just in the sense I wish you weren’t bored. Me personally im a pretty good player myself and I do have to agree with the pure lack of originality in this game. I do believe it is the people interacting with this meta who take advantage of it that can make the game boring . I go up against so much x nasty, y nasty, trips te as we all do. And me I am definitely off meta, I run Bills playbook and have yet to play an opponent who doesn’t use trips te and bunch. I don’t even click over to bunch and all that crap. Anyway my point is. I enjoy playing and winning in an off meta scheme so much that I almost can’t get bored. It pisses me off slightly less than it does make me happy to beat people who follow a script of what they see the best player do. I really believe the human nature of people being driven to chase tournaments, fame, etc. has taken tons of people away from playing the game in an original way where your schemes are only built on numbers, ratings of course, man rub schemes. And the stress of routes passing off to defenders in zone that in real football creates openings. Not this oh lemme just be a 6”2 db looking at the qb throw at his direction and standing  there while a receiver only 5 yards away makes some insane play. I don’t believe abilities should be present. I remember the days where I would click on my receiver to see the matchup advantage vs the db so I could understand what routes I’ll actually be able to consistently get off this game. Or looking at a wide alignment nickle mug and knowing there is no way hell these 4 240 pound dudes are gonna destroy the 5down linemen and te I have on this inside zone. I have gotten around it. And yeah for the most part numbers, wide side concepts, short side concepts are still crucial to being good. But it’s not the basis of how people play. The basis seems to be set around people finding the quickest way to do something that damn near or can’t be guarded without hyper focus on it. That does need to change. But I still am motivated to play because Im a football geek, and I come at the game originally with Offense and find satisfaction at how I get guys open vs stopping my opponents with their repetitive play.

y'all seriously have a problem, you're way to invested in me as a person in a Madden forum. I'm not the first person i've seen both of y'all talk shit to on this forum that mentioned they were in the top 100. Just say you pissed you can't get there and you tried, i made it both seasons without even going for it, but i should never mention that because both of you may get upset about it or bothered in some way. The mere mention of being in the top 100 is a clear sign of attention seeking, don't EVER tell anyone you've made it there.

Anyways they clearly are just going to do Raiders TT all fucking year which is stupid. I'm not a Raiders fan at all, nor is like 90% of football fans but we are stuck with the shit. MUT should be about building a team for YOUR play style or with YOUR favorite players/team, not "hope you like raiders and speed cause that's all the game is about now" lol.

Anyone got any good RPG suggestions? Been thinking about trying new GoY, i liked GoT so seems like a good choice.

I feel what you’re saying. But does it matter being top 100? Why not make the theme team you want and just be content with winning less games? With your skill level, you will still win plenty of super bowls and ranked games with even the jags theme team. The games you do win will feel more rewarding bc you couldn’t use OP players or glitch plays.

Had the same feeling like 3days ago n sold my whole  tt gameplay boring cards boring team building is boring then when you do have some fun ea does something weird and drain whatever energy you got left to play

Switching my TT now n taking a break for a few more days. Hoping maybe it’ll force me to have to grind to top 100 n maybe make it more fun, we’ll see I guess…
