By all means is this not a political post, but RIP to Charlie Kirk. He was killed today on Utah's campus at 31 y/o with a wife and 2 kids.

(mods if you don't think this is appropriate, by all means take it down. this isn't about politics but about a man, husband, and father tragically lossing their life)

I didn't agree with his ideas, but political violence is never acceptable and he didn't deserve to die.

I’m way too young to understand or care about politics

But even as a early teen this hurts my heart

Got taken away from his wife and 2 kids

Seems like a amazing human being

Let god and jesus take care of him

(Im tearing up writing this and I didn’t even know who he was until today)

RIP 🙏🙏🙏

rip he was a very young man and even though I am not into politics I saw that he debated very well, my mom loved him. But I hate to see that some lose their lives early and young. R.I.P brother

Removed a couple of inappropriate posts. As long as the thread remains about him and his tragic loss of life, and we can keep the politics out of it and not turn it into a personal pulpit, I'm good to keep the thread going.

Regardless of what people believe about him and what he stood for, this level of violence is never acceptable. I really feel terrible for his wife and for his kids, who are going to have to grow up without knowing him. Truly a tragedy. 31 is far too young to die, and no one deserves to die like that.

I agree, what makes it even worse was his wife and kids were there to see it happen. its just not right , I hope I never see the video of it

I unfortunately did see the video (albeit censored). It was gut-wrenching. The bullet looked like it struck an artery in his neck. Thankfully the video I saw was really grainy or it would have likely looked even worse. I don't recommend watching. It's just absolutely disgusting.

Such a terrible and sad thing that happened. He was only there to share his opinions, and debate other people about them. Rest in peace.
