It’s literally house rules were talking about here… there’s already multiple other competitive modes, house rules was introduced as the one f#%k around mode where you just need x amounts of wins during its duration to get the max reward. Them making you need to go 9-0 and making the casual mode, sweaty and competitive is just cringe

To indicate he is telling a story.

It was more enjoyable when 30 wins got you the reward. If you were terrible, it just took you longer to get it. Now for most it's unobtainable.

really have no clue how to beat this thing, i feel as if my defence just never makes a stop. only way to win this thing is through multiple 2 point shoot outs until one of you misses
Just get out your credit card, put about $300 on it and the team will much improved to go 9-0

yeah no shit u can invest hours into optimizing but its a house rules u shouldnt have to
I think 9 in a row or once you get to 50 total would be fair.. maybe even a bnd at 50 idk
I went 9-0 first time in under 30 minutes

i just lost game 8, dude threw a double covered streak by my user and CPU and scored both times. i got my 2pt knocked down on the second one
he shouldn’t have scored either hail mary but he did because agg catches are broken
This event is fire ngl, Just wish i wouldnt get placed with people who buy the best cards of the game when i go 6-0, I NEED MALIK HOOKER

Thisssss. Im not even bad. But if I wanna play ranked ill play ranked. College ot has veen my favorite mode for years. Amd now its just god squad sweats.
RyyoLurkedEm said:i don’t really believe this event is solely based on skill… i’ve had my opponents in 3rd and longs in game 8 and they’ve thrown a double covered streak and score on me for the win and i’ve had players boxed by my user and they still manage to get a ridiculous diving catch past my user…
this mode is based on a lot of luck too since it’s literally one drive each.
plus i always start on offence which i have no clue why. it puts that player at a massive disadvantage because you almost have to go for two

The house rules is hard to win 9 games in a row.
This is, at least for me, due to the defense being so bad overall.
Yes, I can completely bag my opponents routes, but that doesn't matter when the receivers can catch anything even when double covered.
Hopefully the tides will turn soon as we get pick artist, knockouts, etc

Check your settings in MUT. There's a Coin Toss setting where you can choose your default "Receive-Kick-With Wind-Against Wind Options." If you're set to receive and most of your opponents are set to kick, then you'll always get the ball first.
This would be my guess on what's going on.
twitchtaxpro said:i mean, it's a top tier card they are giving out for 9-0. would you rather it be an 85 ovr and have to go 7-0? or 84 and 5-0?
It doesn’t have to be 9-0 though. It could’ve been a total win number. Them making it a streak like this ensures much fewer players earning the cards. You seem to think that’s a good thing and that’s fine, but I’m more in the side of cards being more accessible to everyone. It’s not like Hooker/Ridley fit many theme teams.
