it was 6-0 last year for much greater coin rewards. Combine event was giving out like 64k after 6 wins plus your reward
I think the last one was still hard, but more skill based. I was able to go 9-0 in that one, but for a game which is one possession each directly focusing on a luck and RNG battle, it should have been lowered to 6/7 wins rather than 9

that was april though, right? or march...way diff in august.
last year the event only awarded an 84 (when the champs were 86s) for 30 wins total.

yeah i was comparing it to the same event set up they had last year. for campus hero’s it didn’t require 9 wins in a row for the good rewards, it was 30 wins total

you have completely missed my point though. My issue isn’t the stacked opponents. i beat stacked opponents all the time.
my question to the community was their thoughts on this specific event. Going 9-0 in an event where it’s only one drive each makes the mode a lot more luck based and more difficult.
Last event, went 9-0 third try. this event, a terrible player can beat me with a streak and then whips on the 2pt and my runs done. not entirely skill based. where as last event, because it’s multiple drives each, if you’re trash or repetitive, you’re losing because i won’t let it happen again
i mean i fought tooth an nail several times going fir two every time. just gotta understand thats how u win and always go for them

Make it a BND at 5 or 6, 9 or 10 is auctionable. Really not that hard for EA to do BnD.
always go for 2 even if youre first possession at least then you control your own destiny since defense if ridiculously hard to stop someone before you figure out what cheese they run

then the sellable reward would be pretty worthless. most people can get 5. maybe make it 7 or 8 for the BND
or maybe do it like ranked....at 1 win, you get a 78 BND ridley, 2 wins 79, 3 wins 80....etc with only the 86 being auctionable.
Personally, I think 9-0 is a great exchange for an auctionable player. Y'all remember having to get like fucking 250 wins (or 150 i dont remember) for that free 99 TT All Stars OBJ in madden 24? It literally took me almost 2 WEEKS to get that card for my phins TT. He was BND btw.
If you have thumbs you can win the event in a few tries and boom now you js got yourself a 500k+ coin player that you can sell instead of needing to spend 30+ hours on BND player.
Why are we acting so surprised that people are actually trying and using exploits to their advantage? Again the rewards are not only good but they aren't asking for a lot. Have you guys played madden before 😭😭 Do we not remember the stem glitch last year? Its to the point where either you learn how to use these exploits or you learn how to defend it. U can call it glitching and cheating but ultimately its not the players fault that you can do that, its EAs so sure complain how scummy these guys are but if EA could make a polished game we wouldnt have these issues 🤷♂️ and if they're calling the same play over and over again and still scoring 7 on you everytime without any motion glitching I cant help you there 😂😂
Edit: js want to clarify that yes this event is a lil different from the last two, and having a short field to play defense on is a lot harder. I was more talking about just needing to go 9-0 in general for these rewards

Switching from 6-0 to 9-0 kind of kills the fun of house rules. Getting 9 games in a row without matching with some sweaty loser whos mastered 1 broken play and already has all the best players is nearly impossible. I’ll beat 7-8 players in a row and then get matched with someone who runs 1-2 plays and just throws undefendable jump balls to completely covered receivers every play

maybe they just need a lesser unique reward for 6-0, but going 6-0 still pays pretty well i think, like 30k?
perhaps a unique sellable 83 or 84....an 84 would be great to prep the binders for the move up to 87s
