It’s a corny term but we are on the topic so. I am definitely “low money spent”. Only thing I’ve bought so far is the deluxe field pass. I’ll spend small bits here n there throughout the year but not much. Last year I maybe spent an additional $100-120 over the course of the entire year.

I like to grab a pack when they have flash deals. However, I've never done a bunle over 5850. BUT 1 day I would love to get a 12K bundle. If you got the $$ you can spend it on whatever you want! NMS is a loong grind to have good coins and good team.. many people are in the middle..

I buy the premium pass only. I enjoy not spending additional money as I like building a team with what I can get without spending other than the pass.

I could spend money if I wanted to, but I feel that the whole arrangement for spending cash to buy a team is straight unethical. You don't get to buy additional pieces in Chess, you don't get to buy additional money in Monopoly, you don't get to buy extra points in real football. But in Madden, if you want an edge, you spend dollars.

I had to take the "money spent" answer because yes, I spend money on MUT beyond the purchase of the game.
1. Pre-order deluxe version for the "perks"
2. At launch I buy a couple of platinum bundles to kick start my coin stack and get all the cards necessary for my Patriots theme team
3. I will, periodically throughout the season, spend a bit more if the urge strikes me
4. Now that it's a thing, premium season field pass will be a regular MUT expense
While I do understand the opinions/positions of both sides, I do not understand the conflict between the MS and NMS factions. As a "minimal money spent" player I not only count but depend on the money spenders to keep the auction house stocked. I am grateful for them. If any of you do or have played HUT (hockey ultimate team) you know what it's like to have a tiny market where most people don't spend money beyond the first few weeks of launch.
I will also add that I am of the "doesn't matter to me how choose to play" opinion. Enjoy the game, play your way and let others enjoy the game their way. Do what you think/believe makes the most sense for you.

Never. Or at least, I don’t recognize I am doing so.
(I say that last part because I believe with regard to cheesy/cheap/cheating play, there are definitely plays with outsized rewards for the risk involved. I don’t run any RPO play, and don’t run any auto-motion plays. I don’t run Mug alignments, don’t loop blitz, and don’t hover a linebacker over the offensive line to glitch out the blocking AI. I definitely *do* blitz on occasion, and I *do* routinely hot route receivers according to established football principles like leveraging, alignment, and hat count. Some people don’t like that last part, but I’ll add that I don’t do that in combinations that send defenders on holiday because of bad zone coverage or pursuit AI.)
NMS but i dont care if you spend. I just cant put money into digital cards that become irrelevent in 1 year when the next Madden drops. Seems like a giant waste. Like alcohol. I spent money my first Madden, at the end I realized I spent like $300 just in pack opening... yeah never again.
But I can appreciate money spenders because it does add to the market. More cards to go around.
If people didn't have the desperate urge to play online head to head money wouldn't be an issue. I don't play online until my OVR is 98/99. I spend a little money at the end of the year, no more than 75 bucks at most.
