Title says it all. Wherever I play mut h2h now, most of my game consist of the football getting knocked out from my wr/te/rbs and Daniel Faalele breaking tackles for a big gain or TD.

At this stage of the game truzz is a necessity and holding R1 to not fumble next thing is to attack schemes a lot of people will blitz you out see if you can handle smoke well if not they’ll sit in it and just send it all game if you can counter it and make them play sometimes you’ll have a fun game other times they just cry baby leave yk regardless truzz is needed ST or Tackle Supreme helps with felele fronts a big counter to him if you can get him or have him other than that this product of Mut is typical end of the year Mut if you don’t have a whale of a squad good luck

This is everyone's experience, unless they're cheating. Do you really want to go to the Dark Side?

This game’s coding is the worst. I just lost a game in House Rules in the last play… after getting an interception, my CB was hit-sticked by some fat o-lineman and fumbled. Then the other team’s RB got the ball back for a TD.
Now we have to add Truzz to DBs?
What are 3 must have abilities on offense and defense?
Other than Universal coverage of course
Linebackers and Secondary: Out My Way if you can't get Reinforcement; Tackle Supreme; Mid-Zone KO if you can't get Universal Coverage
Defensive Line: If you can't get Run Stuffer, Inside Stuff on your tackles, and No Outsiders on your ends; Double or Nothing; Edge Threat Elite on your ends if you can't get Unstoppable Force, or Interior Threat on your tackles if you can't get Colossus, or at least Unstoppable Force
Eligible Receivers: Route Technician; Tank if you can't get Truzz (though you'll want both if available); YAC 'em Up for receivers that attack the inside, or Double Me for receivers that isolate defenders.
Offensive Linemen: Secure Protector; Post Up on your interior linemen, or Edge Protector on your tackles; All Day; Vanguard gets dishonorable mention
I'll let someone else make recommendations for quarterbacks and runningbacks, as that gets complex

I'll jjust give you the whole setup
rbs need truzz, then angry runs, then tank probably
Tight ends need vanguard then truzz than angry runs imo
Wideouts need truzz, angry runs, then either vanguard or double me based on scheme.
DLine needs colossus, unstoppable force, relentless
Linebackers need UC, avalanche, lurk artist, enforcer supreme, varies on team scheme
DBacks need UC and shutdown, and bottleneck.

The game is best some time after launch, once you’ve assembled a relatively competitive lineup and have figured out the nuances of the current iteration of Madden. The first two patches usually clean up the more egregious issues.

I guess there is some personal preference here -- the base game does not play for shit, hence how and why abilities have basically become a requirement. In AUG/SEPT (assuming M26 will be similar to CUT26), what little i've played, i'm already beyond sick of my DBs dropping easy picks that hit them squarely in both hands as we all watch the ball fall helplessly to the ground. It's the same experience on both sides of the ball. Can't really play Man coverage, because it's wildly inconsistent and gives up easy one play TDs all the time (especially against any type of cheat motion) and Zones don't cover shit until they have Mid Zone KO to react properly. I highly doubt giving us more defensive adjustments will mask these deficiencies. It's basically why they had to add Switch Stick to the game, we're now forced to play all 11 positions on the field, because the CPU will literally just stand there and turn slowly and watch players run around or away from them.
My peak enjoyment (in the years since my glorious return from Madden-retirement) has consistently been from around Zero Chill until the Superbowl, JAN/FEB are often the most fun I've had each and every year for the past couple/few seasons. I casually began dabbling again during M22 cycle, before picking up MUT23 halfway through the season... and now i'm a full-blown MUT junkie, sitting here sweating and shaking as i white knuckle this shit, trying hard NOT to pre-order M26. I think i can, i think i can. . .
