I Rate this MUT a 5/10. The start was pretty good some fun free cards and the Christmas promo was crazy. Even the playoff amd Super Bowl Promo were good but thats where all the juice ends and it wasn't that good. Free Agency,Genki force even TOTY were alright the only great promo was All Star Athletes but when that promo ended this got so sloppy where its hard for me to even attempt to hop on the game. MUT was not that bad but like in football games its not how you start its how you end.

It sucked almost the whole year; I won't apologize in behalf of EA for the numerous times they ignored the pleas of gamers and let absolute trash cheap-cheating play prevail over simple football issues that were easy enough to correct. No good reason my guys frequently won't respond to inputs, especially on cheating rollouts, cheating double passes, and cheating of all other sorts.
It didn't even earn a rating.
Unrated.
Can that rating be negative? The pack odds were absolutely disgusting. The daily coins are just miserable. I used to remember every once in a while. Getting hundreds of thousands of coins from ea on those the gameplay is disgusting. Everything is out of position. Silliness, like Snoop Dogg, playing Middle linebacker. Everything is based on abilities and x factors . You don't need any skill as long as you have a wallet. This iteration, of madden was the worst ever, and I hope to never see anything. This disgustingly bad ever again
3.5/10, packs are ass, gameplay even worse
Would be lower if events like the draft modes didn’t exsist and having some sparks here and there earlier in the year
Content was good but that really hasn’t been the problem

After reading this, it reminded me of other things EA changed this year, and it was for the worse:
• Gating team chemistry boosts
• Persistent juicing of cards for lengthy periods (I am OK with traditions like tall characters for a couple days in late October, but week after week of Zero Skill was awful)
• Ah, yes, I am reminded: That awful Zero Chill stadium
• "Fixing" RPO's, only to see end-game abilities make RPO abuse even stronger than it was last year if you aren't committing to hours of drills and practice against one freaking play
• Way too many coins could be earned in various modes, causing unprecedented market inflation that only cheaters had the deep pockets to afford after exploiting their way through win after win
It was promised that the game would function more like football, but in the end, there were just more exploits than ever. The community has gone almost completely darkside as to sportsmanship. MUT 25 was a failure.
It's a poor game. Graphics are decent (its 2025 though so, yeah) but the gameplay is woeful. Tackle mechanics were probably the worst I've seen in years - "physics based tackling" my arse and there are still way too many examples of winning games by breaking the AI and spamming nonsense for anyone to think it's simulation football. QB's can still sprint untouched to the sideline and throw 40-yard dots across their body to receivers who come back to the ball without defenders even noticing them. Lineman miss blocks, DB's play horrendous coverage, I could go on and on and on and on and on. Its total horseshit.
H2H is frustrating. There's clearly some sort of balancing going on. Some people call it DDA but personally I don't care what its called, games should be won by the best player or, if one team is miles ahead on OVR, the strongest team or the best player. Too often it feels like none of that matters. It's just random pish. From a gameplay point of view, its been pointless for the last month. Pointless and deeply unenjoyable. Way too much free AP and just a whole pile of roided-up 99OVRs running about like lunatics with dice rolls deciding the outcome.
Promos were average. Most were poorly conceived and player releases felt like someone at EA just pulled a name from a bucket. I absolutely hated anything that involved OOP. Snoop Dog as a Linebacker? Oh fuck off! It's just daft.
An extra minus point for that god awful Zero Chill stadium.
3/10
Every reward being a BND now is also just such a slap in the face
Would say 4 and I started in March.
Less and less card variety every year.
No BND rewards to up teams
Same broken abilities
Same bad code
1.5/10 no upgrade Joe Flacco for quarterback what the heck
24 was 10/10 , 20 my favorite was 9.5/10 I will take 84 Flacco 84 》 88 OVR boost all day anyway.
Started playing in 23
My least favorite was 25 by a looong shot
24 was amazing and 23 had its flaws
2/10
EA went crazy this year with all the money spending which imo started way back in Team Diamonds (never been a more clear example of rewarding players who spent money)
Tackling might be the worst thing I’ve ever laid my eyes upon, apparently it’s possible to get much worse than Madden 24 tackling
Promos overall were mid, no Harvest sucked, Snoop Dogg was the worst thing I’ve ever seen (at least we didn’t get Greek Gods like CFB), and you can’t forget Money Appreciation
Don’t forget having to log in at 2 PM on a random Tuesday because EA released a new bug that makes everyone able to pull the LTD
Overall worse than Madden 24, I don’t even know how that’s possible

I wanted to lose my damn mind when someone a few posts above rated M24 a "10/10" -- are we even playing the same game? It's okay to have favorites, we liek what we liek and that's okay... but sweet baby geebus, have some damn standards. Goodness gracious. 10 out of 10 (at least in my mind) indicates a PERFECT score. This game is so far from perfect, i cannot even take that shit seriously.
Nothing about Madden, especially not Ultimate Team, has felt anywhere close to a modern, competitive, simulation fatball title... let alone fair, fun and balanced. I'm still having a blast playing Squads, but every other game mode is woefully inadequate. Game has been a buggy, inconsistent mess for YEARS and EA either; can't fix the most glaring issues, because they have absolutely no clue how to improve gameplay, given the limitations of the Frostbite game engine or simply won't, because they don't care and refuse to hire a sufficient Dev staff for even one game, let alone dropping two per calendar year.
Ahhh well. It's time to put our money where our mouth is -- i'm going to try and not pre-order M26, maybe give a few months for the dust to settle, assuming i can hold out that long. $35 Black Friday sale feels about right in terms of "value" for an annual roster update. They can slap as much lipstick on the Madden 26 pig, but there's zero chance this is the "best" (nor most real) Madden ever. Such stupid, empty marketing terms get slapped on this stuff each and every single year.
Players spamming the Square button to make diving superman tackles (which almost never miss) is downright atrocious. Half the on defense i'll be in position to make a play on the ball and our defenders will just stand there, not even attempt to animate. Such bullshit.

Do the terrible EA servers even hold up enough to do Squads consistently? lol
6/10
I want to rate it lower, but the reality is I had fun and have played this game for the whole year so at the end of day it was a ok game at minimum.
With that being said there is a lot of improvement EA needs make.
1. Bring back skill moves. This madden felt so 1 dimensional with only fat players getting a decent spin move. I want to see more jukes, and stutter steps incorporated.
2. Promo boost only lasting a few weeks has to go. Biggest money grab by EA. You either have to spend a ton of time/money every promo to compete. This move really screwed over NMS players.
3. Pack odds/terrible offers. Spend $25 for a 30% chance of an LTD is trash. Also spending $25 for a TWO card pack is wild. Packs should really have at least 4-5 cards minimum. I do think the community is partly to blame in EA getting so greedy. Too many times EA would drop a mid LTD behind a $50+ step offer with terrible odds and people still bought it.
