EA, I am literally calling out the play before it happens with all those adjustments.
If I audible to man, folks are scrambling.. so damn dumb this play is still a thing.
And if you run it, if the aids finds you, 🤷♂️..
Double pass is literally one of the easiest plays to stop. Either run man or cover 4 with hard flats and pass commit. To your point yes, it’s glitchy and only bums run it.

Yeah, it burns stock cover 4 that you recommend. But yeah, it only gets run by folks that are terrible..
My aggravation, last game played a guy, went back and forth.. really good game. I’m up by 3 with 15 seconds to go, and he runs it. I saw it, blitzed the cb, pass committed, and still got burned..

You have to either user or switch stick to the safety and play the deep route for at least a second. The hard flat will tackle the double pass player pretty quickly. You can also manually tackle/pick off the double pass as well.

Why can’t the game AI simply direct the safety just cover over the top when you pass commit, just as the player would defend in the NFL? I mean, it’s nice that the community wants to provide specific semi-effective counters for this sort of cheating, but I’ve already told the defense what to do twice, between the play with the deep quarters or thirds, and then pass commit, so I shouldn’t still have to take control of the one guy who is supposed to have the discretion to sit back in zone to cover a play in the NFL that gets run once or twice a year by a handful of teams in non-end-of-game situations.
With all of the stupid abilities along with 99 SPD everywhere, there are too many whiffed tackles by the cornerback on this play, and so I still see it all the time.
If even if it is it will be nerfed

You can literally instant tackle the guy every time if you user rush, they are stuck in an animation and are forced to run to the same exact spot every time. lol

Skill issue but I win 95% of the games I play.. obviously if someone is doing it repeatedly that’s the move.

You can’t make a user tackle to stop a play that literally instantly stops it every time, I would say yes, skill issue.
Winning doesn’t automatically mean you’re good in madden, it can just mean DDA on your side

Always wild to me when kids show up in the comments defending EA's terrible coding and absolutely broken / busted gameplay... but yeah, it's definitely "skill issue" right ? The mental gymanstics it requires to get that twisted up must be wild.
The game is clearly broken, which is why players continually abuse this nonsense. Cover 4 Drop should absolutely play this, not simply bite down on the run each and every single time. Sure you can USER rush this and hope you get there before the pass is thrown, but even that is not a guarantee. Cover 2 Man reliably picks the ball off, but this is how zones should play, as well. Man coverage is so ridiculously unreliable, i've had to keep Universal on both my deep safeties (instead of say, Reinforcement) to ensure i've got somewhat sticky coverage over top, for exactly these scenarios.
In Squads we have two players run deep to try and defend both sides of the field, while the third is USER-rushing the double passer, we understand HOW to defend this, but there's still kids managing to burn us 1 out of 5 attempts. It's just silly these bugs persist year after year after year... but IMPACTFUL WEATHER, boyz! Get hyped for M26. Don't think about it too much, just buy more packs.
Double passes got me early in the year but ppl that run them tend to spam it and I usually would end up getting more turnovers than having it work against me

Wait I thought DDA only triggered if you had a crappy team? Good to know that with a god squad, it still gets triggered.. 🙄
