Just like everything else with EA the system doesn't work right. Once you are in a certain bracket of DDA that is where you are stuck, whether it is good or bad, and it doesnt change anymore based on how much you are winning or losing. That is why there are players who are objectively bad and have no user or stick skills, and are extremely predictable but still win because their opponents players are running at half speed and cannot catch a interception, pick up a fumble, or do anything to save your their life.
If you cannot recognize DDA in the game, you just haven't reached a high enough skill level and you most likely are either benefiting from it and in denial, or you are delusional and don't want to admit its there.
I could give people an excuse back in Madden 17 and 18 cause it had only been in the game a couple years at that point, but at this point if you can't recognize it you are hopeless. The game shouldn't be playing completely differently for two players, even if they have the same skill level, players, abilities and playcalls, but it does and would for many.
