A lot of guys can afford teams that KO every pass that goes 20 yards, and can stuff every run of every sort. Back to Zero Skill MUT. What a terrible game.
If you haven't the coins to upgrade to Combine and TOTY, you're done.
Garbage, garbage power creep. I won't spend any money to make the game playable. Everyone that has a hand in MUT should be fired when the NFL takes away their license, and they should never work on games again.
HOW DO I GET FORCED-FUMBLED TWICE ON BACK-TO-BACK DRIVES WHEN MY OPPONENT HAS NO AVALANCHE/EXTRA POP AND MY GUY IS NOT FATIGUED??!
I literally had the game WON and just had to go down, and for the second time, a completely oblique hit knocked the ball out. WHY IS THIS GAME SO BROKEN?!!
Reason: Specifically called out non-abilities

this has nothing to do with the power creep you mentioned. fumbles have been happening all year and exactly why the pros and better players play on conservative
and this power creep has happened every single year since abilities were introduced into the game. it’ll only get more crazy as we reach the end of the madden 25 cycle.
if you have an issue with it, regs is always there for you, but this is how madden is post super bowl. Hence why a lot stop playing, i personally like it, it’s new, feels like a different game and honestly takes more skill to know how to avoid the KO’s and play with a proper scheme. Early in the year when abilities aren’t a thing, you get away with a lot of BS where as now if you make a bad read, it’s gonna be picked or knocked out

Meh, this game is awful and there really isn't any skill involved at all. Doesn't take skill to run youtube meta garbage or have 500 abilities on your players.

My opponents can't throw 4 dropped Interceptions and 6 Murder Balls for catches on a 12 play touchdown drive
The ones who hate abilities thrived for the first 5 months of Madden25 bc of exactly this
Facts are Facts. Read a book 🤷

in one of the runs (what makes it worse I was 7-0)
I fumbled 3 times

I have yet to force a fumble in Showtime Showdown. Perhaps that’s because I hadn’t equipped Avalanche or Extra Pop. But neither had my opponent, so I just don’t understand.
Reason: Grammar

I don't accept this explanation for the simple reason that abilities hadn't gone near this far in MUT 24.
Examples:
MUT 24's MVVP Kyle Hamilton had two discounted custom ability buckets, enabling you to equip DZKO and PA for 0 AP, but there were no discounts available outside of the two custom ability buckets. MUT 25's Kyle Hamilton (not an MVVP) can equip MZKO and PA for 1 AP, but can also equip three additional abilities in a combination like DIZKO, FZKO, and Tip Drill for 0 AP. And right now you can equip 16 AP in abilities on defense, whereas you could only equip 11 AP on defense at the same time last year. Abilities are dominating right now, especially in House Rules.
The "creep" was massive, sudden, and across the board. The spike happened immediately after Genki Force this year, while in MUT 24 AP discounts increased gradually up until about Fan Appreciation, when a lot of players would have several 0 AP ability buckets.
"Regs is always there" isn't a fair response when the game literally ran off without a massive tranche of semi-competitive players who didn't have a massive coinstack at the moment that NFL Combine was released. The large-scale and wholly evident capitulation of casuals because of this ensures that of the players that aren't running post-Genki Force lineups, only masochists will continue playing head-to-head.

so you’re saying it takes no skill to win in this game then? how does that make sense… guess fancy, john beast, players winning gauntlet, players winning the event have no skill…
skill has nothing to do with how the game mechanics work, we as players have no control on how the game is made. the definition of skill states to have the ability to do something well… it’s how you use the product in front of you
you literally proved my point. there is more AP in this game therefore it should actually be more difficult to move the ball against a stacked up defence with 16AP right?
so if I’m consistently winning games against stacked teams, that isn’t a show case of skill? I’m just lucky? what does that make my opponent?
come on man you make no sense. i get the game isn’t in the best state but saying there’s no skill involved is a cop out and a pretty weak excuse that you aren’t winning games as much as you wish you were
i don’t mean to be a dick, i try to be as helpful as i can on these forums but the game is the game. you either adapt or don’t play

the event is on all pro you have to remember, all pro isn’t as good as all madden modes (ranked, champs, gauntlet)

Take a break for a week bud. Maybe a month? Maybe til madden 26 or beyond?
just trying to help. U don’t seem to be having much fun with this hobby.

Horrible example. That last year Kyle Hamilton card is straight up better than the this year one. Dzok VS dizko is a huge difference. It's not even close to close. The current one absolutely does not make my squad, but I'd definitely cop that one for 24.
