Once again...a reminder to EA...ban or penalize constant hurry ups

Didnt they try to implement stamina last year on DLineman and they had to be subbed out every other play?

Outside of hit sticks on ball carriers, havent seen any stamina or fatigue impacts?

Actually, if you run around with Vick like a MADMAN but have energizer, you never fatigue

Yea like myteam on 2k, if a certain player gets injured, or needs to be out for x number of quarters/ mins you gotta sub some one else in. Would definitely be a good addition to mut. Only off of big hits tho.

There used to be injuries in MUT a long time ago, and you could actually knock players out of the game. Before MUT existed in old versions of Madden and ambulance would drive onto the field and pickup hurt players.

HA, my dear sainted mother just asked recently if i remembered my lovely time "gaming" on the Commodore 64, heh.  Those cassette tape drives (and 45+ minute load times) were truly something special.  Had to dig deep in the memory banks to try and figure out what the very first version of video game football was that i ever participated in, i believe it was this Super Challenge Football on Atari 2600.

Yes, as with most things that EA tries, even when the initial idea is decent or perhaps even a truly good idea... they lack the ability to execute.  I'm not convinced anyone at EA truly understands the Frostbite game engine, or the mess of a code base they must have on their hands after refactoring that crap year after year.

Doesn't really matter what it is, from pass catching (on both sides of the ball) to simple stamina and fatigue.  EA doesn't have a damn clue.

That looked like a genuinely authentic representation of football. The graphical presentation was state-of-the-art.

Oh my goodness, THANK YOU for sharing that gameplay link, wow.  Just wow.  I always assumed i've basically grown up with the technology and (mostly) seen it "all" heh, but clearly I've missed quite a lot.  This exceeded my expectations in nearly every way.  Red versus blue, with 11 on 11 football?!  There's more hints of realistic simulation in that TI-99 than in many aspects of current (next?) generation Madden, oof.  Are we still calling PS5 consoles "next-generation"?  That always irked me.

I barely count the Commodore 64 as a personal computer, as i was so small at the time -- definitely missed the boat with that glorious Texas Instruments machine... it had an actual color display?  Wowza.  The 286 Epson (12MHz, with 16MHz Turbo) and 1MB of RAM (640KB base + 384KB extended memory) that Santa brought for us in 1990 was where i managed to learn the basics, which propelled me into the IT realm.  Thanks for sharing the trip down memory lane, mister Miller.  Truly delightful.  The touchdown animation (and MIDI beeps) were outstanding.
