You literally typed out about a hour ago. About how it was banned in MCS because it disallowed an entire defensive scheme. And EA patched the neutered version of it earlier in the year because no matter what defense you called it left the TE wheel uncovered.

EA banned it for the entertainment value in the MCS. And because the MCS competitors wanted to run cover 0. The idea that a play that is in h2h is cheating to be called is legitimately insane

Ea didnt ban it for entertainment value lol.
They banned it because its a glitch play that neutrulizes the ability of majority the stock defenses from being able to properly cover it.
Thats some olympic level mental gymnastics to belive that running a play that EA has banned due to the competitive advantage it gives isnt cheating.
Id expect Read Wheel to be gonzo next year like the others EA has removed

Freeform passing is fairly new, although they had something similar a while ago iirc
The game is ruined infinitely more by the players than EA. Sure, the gameplay has been awful for basically a decade and MUT's nothing but money-hungry garbage, but playing could actually be fun if the players just did what they should've been doing for years:

Nobody has fun playing the game, because they either can't or aren't playing. If I'm going up against some kid with mommy's credit card squad, I can't play because all I get are unblockable blitzes, eight X-Factors going at once, Bo rollouts, running constantly, juking into the stands, etc. And for them, they're not even playing the damn game, it's playing for them. And that's all before getting into DDA handing Timmy anything and everything after that.
I've said it for years, Madden's plagued by fatherless behavior. And if kids started receiving consequences for basically cheating, things would quickly get better. Hell, I got to the point years ago that if there were people going around booting these losers offline constantly, I'd do nothing but laugh and applaud them for their contribution to society.
Well, here's to hoping NCAA is good.

If you're constantly abusing glitches and the most broken shit in the game, having EA play for you (let alone having DDA), then yea, you're cheating.
Wanna know a good reason why we know it's cheating? Because every single loser doing it would never play without it in a wager against a competent player.

You're a solid poster but man, you're the only one defending EA here. Give it a rest dude, the game is complete garbage and that's all there is to it. Calling glitchy plays and fucking with the AI isn't playing the game, it's cheating and abusing the game

I grew up when multiplayer douche behavior received a smack from your friend. The online transition removed this repercussion.
