I took a little break from the game and came back this weekend. Since I've been back everyone seems to be running the same defense. I keep seeing them playing "Cover 3 Sky" but from the look of it they make a lot adjustments at the line. So a couple questions.
1. Is this some new meta defense? If so, what adjustments are they running?
2. What should I do to counter?
People so lazy now, go in practice mode and figure it out lol
Honestly, they are probably running some sort of mable coverage out of cover 3. I haven't ran into this, but i would assume mable coverage with zone drops.

Am I wrong? What is the point of playing this game if you’re just hoping for someone else to tell you how to play it.. if YouTube didn’t exist, i guarantee you, this game, even with a shitty imbecile squad coding it, would be so much more fun. It gets annoying to play the same scheme over and over again, as people quit the second you bag it.
I hear you, but he’s been away for a while and there would be lots to catch up on.

It’s stupid. It’s so hard to counter. Especially when they have a good user to stop run game.
Practice mode really is your friend here.
Flood concepts, spead + inside zone, RPO's or just screens in general all beat Cover 3. If someone is doing adjustments it's likely either to try to stop the run game or to put flat zones in addition to the other zones.
The easiest play that beats Cover 3 Sky is any sort of compressed formation where you go Streak / Corner / Flat on one side of the field. The corner route gets behind the curl/flat and underneath the deep 3rd.

Okay that makes sense. We have way more AP then when I left so it took some time gettin used to all zone KOs out there. Appreciate it.

Agreed, this is what I went to when I saw they were spamming cover 3. But they had it locked up, that's why i posted. Just wanted to see if there was any new meta defense that works out of a cover 3 shell.

I think you mistake offended with stating simple facts. And no to all of those lol, a monkey can figure out how to manipulate madden AI, and which cards fit your team.

usually going to be holes in the middle of the field, all zone coverages have holes, you just have to find them, would recommend recording yourself playing and reviewing in regular season h2h since seeing the plays helps learn it better and practice mode running defensive schemes / offense against them helps

I see both sides, it's lazy to expect people to give you an answer and there is no right one answer, people can only tell him what to do to get better and he has to put in the wurk...
