What offensive formations do you hate playing against?

I like to user press the Receivers into each other.   Its one of the easiest ways i have found to disrupt those formations

I hate defending Trips TE but I guess that's why I run it

I hate any Bunch, especially Bunch Str Nasty or something, people always run double posts and verticals against me, or they will cheese with an RPO read play

I hate this and posted about this right before I saw u posted this, it is so dumb and op, my favorite playbook doesn’t have it so I run i-form slot and strong close a lot because i like their plays

Bunch Offset is over Used. It’s literally every other game. It’s not the worst though. A few brain dead ones are GunSlot Offset, Singleback Wing Slot, Monster, all beatable but annoying. RPOs don’t need to be removed I actually think they serve a purpose. They should be a hard punish for misaligned defenses. (they currently are) They just need dedicated reliable counter play. Like pass commit playing the RPO without killing the run defense Vs RPOs specifically.

RPOs are another "feature" that's been added to the game to make new / unskilled players feel like they can compete.

Nickle wide cover 2 invert, user bunch side DE to cover underneath and a few other quick adjusts in the secondary, bags double post every time. I use double post but I have like 10 different route combos I use out of it. I view it as a template that I adjust based on what I'm trying to do. I feel like most people who use HRM have play templates like this that they just adjust based on what they need. I would like a game that is more realistic too, but this one's not, so if I'm going to compete, I find and use what works for me...shrug...There's a reason why the pros prefer certain formations and build route combos off of certain plays too. That said the most annoying offense to me is the jump pitch option. You shouldn't be able to accurately pitch 10 yards when my de is in the middle of hitsticking you, smh.

The way defensive players react to RPOs in the game does not reflect how they would be defended in an actual football game.  Manning up the RPO bubble should 100% take it away.  It's spotty at best in MUT.

And before someone says "oh but NFL teams run the same play over and over" yea they do but  not more than a handful and def not 37 times in a row. Defenses eventually see it coming and adjust, maybe EA should try that?

And to the guy who says "well you just have to learn to stop it" nah, fuck that. I know how to stop it but it ruins the game and we are trying to play football, not who can manipulate the ai better.

In madden tho it’s you who adjusts to stop it - the point of the game is that you control the offense and defense, they’re not gonna adjust to something just for you

This 100%. I will say RPOs are challenging in real life but because they put the defense in conflict, not because the slot corner becomes a bull seeing red at the qb lol

You knew one guy would come with the "but they use them in real life!!!" as if EA knows how to fucking program anything they run in real life. RPOs are complete dog shit and they should be taken out of the game since EA doesn't know how to program them

Go watch my videos to see what i mean to players not reacting. I have guys in position, you make it sound like i literally make no adjustments. the game is a fucking cheesefest

I find most trips te players are really good at making good reads. I think spread forms are easier to read, and trips te has the best route combos of any of the more spread sets
