H2H

Has anyone else already taken their team apart? I did after the final RP release, so I've mostly been grinding out solo battles for my comp pass rewards, but I've played a few h2h games, and against all 99 teams, I've been consistently getting up by multiple scores and beating teams way better than mine. I have no abilities on offense and only one on defense. I don't know if its just my scheme or what.

Your scheme must be really good and/or your opponents must be really bad, if you're that dominant without abilities. Congrats on the wins.

Got any tips?

At this point in the year... every kid playing the game will have a 99 OVR team.  Doesn't make them good players bruh.

Not sure, I've got about 14 out of the 32 RPs, 1 QB, 1 RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3OL, 1DL, 2CB, 2OLB, 1FS.

I've kinda developed my own west coast-air raod hybrid with the 49ers playbook, lots of drags, quick slant routes, TE out routs, hb screens, options runs, with a few coverage bombs thrown in for fun.

Defensively its mostly cover 3 and 4 zone from even 6-1, and some cover 2 man.

Its really odd because I've been about .500 all year but lately I've been pretty good in the 10 or so h2h games I've played in the last week.

Thanks for replying. I definitely could work more screens into my game. I've had decent success with them when I call one. But for whatever reason, I almost never use them in most of my games.

Screens are definitely a good idea to use more in any offense, I tend to use them mostly on run downs, 3&short, anything and goal, or whenever I've been playing g run heavy for a drive, getting your opponent to think your just gonna keep running out of shotgun and then putting a quick screen in a short yardage situation can be a great way to get big yards

I like that. Im going to start using those more in my offense to keep my opponent off guard

this is it right here. OP is probably solid but everyone has a 99 squad right now. 

only thing im enjoying is more aggressive catches actually working now

Not only that... but a lot of the top end players have hung it up for the year with M23 - opting to play the M24 beta or just take a break before the new game drops on 8/15.  I personally have won five straight super bowls on Legends tier and nothing has changed about my team or scheme.  I'm just playing a lot of opponents with stacked teams who aren't very good.

You’ll play trash players in regular season H2H lots of bad players are back for RP thats why you’ve been to able to do that. Otherwise you’d get smoked by decent players running no AP’s on Offense and Defense

Nice, Madden clearly knows the scheme i struggle with. Going 6-0 all the time now, only to lose right before my superbowl. The coins and 90+ cards are whats keeping me going to complete these RP sets. No idea who ill take for a GT either

I played a person last night and it was down to a field goal. 16 seconds left and I had the ball. but for some damn reason my line didn't want to block the guy on the far left. so game over he blocked it picked it up and showboated  his ass all the way to the end zone. Those type of games really irritate me. the mechanics of this game is broken. IRL my damn line would of held. this game is built some much off of animation and timing. there's no real common sense of this stupid ass game. It might be that I'm on old Gen also who knows. that's my opinion though.  any ideas how to get your line to hold better in crucial moments ? FIELD GOALS
