Deflator lights up on just about every tackle (hit sticks, dive tackles, cut sticks, etc.). It seems to drain less stamina, but it adds up over time and you don't need to land a hit stick like Crusher. It can also help force fumbles but it's not as big of an effect as landing Crusher hit sticks.
