If I was unemployed and in massive debt, and truly spent thousands on the game, its nobody's business anyway.... just like you said, if I have disposable income and this is a hobby of mine, who has the right to question or comment on how I spend it?
Truth is I'm 50+ years old , employed, with the ability to spend money on what I enjoy....and I'm lucky for it. Great family, wife, kids.... I'm incredibly fortunate... but it took some time to get here. I grew up in Brooklyn NY in a low income area and worked a lot of jobs during college to pay my way. I deserve to spend my hard earned money how I see fit. So frankly , screw anyone who thinks they have a right to question that.
