<p>Generally, the OVR drop is just part of EA's algorithm so I can't really explain that. I do think that Von specifically would be good despite his OVR (he would destroy any 86 OVR RE or LE in game) so I would ride with him.</p>

Did you NOT see what happened with the price? EA knows what they are doing. They pretend like they are incompetent but strangely their incompetence has led to millions of extra dollars likely made. Slinger 1 is nothing more than a marketing tool. To keep it the most exclusive and lucrative tool in their bag, they won’t be giving slinger 1 to just anyone and it will likely only be 2-3 QBs this entire year.
