I was honestly surprised at how little they were stopping last night. Fully agree with you.
TheNickSix said:Do you watch mcs at all? even the pros aren't getting stops. DBs just watch the ball go by, they drop everything. Madden 22 defense was also really really bad, but the jukes weren't as overpowered, and I think the pursuit angles are the most egregiously frustrating thing I've ever seen. In no level of football are you taught to miss inside and force them outside away from your help (unless your the lone man standing and sideline is really close by). So ya, worst defensive madden yet. Zones definitely very traffic cone like. I definitely get burned out quick, when i have games that are super high scoring, or if I have a really clutch victory I find myself wanting to end on a high note.
The best thing to do imo until we get another patch is to play aggressive between the 20s, I get more stops when I force 2nd, 3rd and long. In the redzone I play all out coverage. even from base defenses I like top drop 8 into coverage. try to force them to take 3 it's basically as good as getting a stop. Then offensively ball control, hold the ball 3-4 minutes at a time, people make mistakes when they feel pressed for time. Do your best to score or have the ball to end the half, so if you get ball you can double dip if you get ball or prevent them from doing so. End the game with the ball or as close to it as possible. anything over 20 seconds seems like enough time to score. It's tough but the best defense this year is conservative offense.

We just reported this. Don't know if EA is aware, but I wasn't. Will let you know if we hear anything back.
CommandersFan9 said:Any updates on whether or not 87 Gabe Davis will recieve MF chem?

Haven't gotten mine either. Talked to a few folks that haven't. Let's give it some time and see what happens.
StoicTrader said:did you guys get the items yet? claimed and got the in game message I have items but nothing showed up... ?

Re: EA intentionally disconnects

Actually I don't. I provide them criticisms and feedback daily. But not fixing things is NOT THE SAME as them intentionally disconnecting people. Please read the OP and what I wrote.
Jc23 said:I completely disagree. Them not fixing multiple disconnect issues and glitches does equate to them being complicit about them. One could argue that they are definitely the root cause of them. Damn you take up for EA and their bs.
Re: EA intentionally disconnects

So you will keep spending until a new game comes out. And that's EA's fault?
BeeWinz said:That’s where you’re wrong. The quality of Madden has been poor for years, but every single year the same people play their game and spend money on it. Until another simulation football game comes out, that’s how it will remain.
Re: EA intentionally disconnects

Right, but again, this is not what this thread was about when it started.
BeeWinz said:No he’s right. If I’m disconnected from the server in the middle of my playoffs I lose out on rewards
Re: EA intentionally disconnects

But that's not what the thread is about. It's not about them caring about their pockets or fixing things that hurt them faster than those that hurt the player base. You said "they intentionally disconnect people". That's what you said, in your word…
BeeWinz said:Disconnecting you from the server is completely different from not being able to get in the game. If you get disconnected you can instantly reconnect. Everything EA does is to benefit them and only them. I don’t understand how anyone could possibly put anything past them. They literally removed a whole game mode because we found a glitch that benefited us. If time spent in game was so important to them, why remove a whole mode from the game??? Because they only care about their pockets at the end of the day
Re: EA intentionally disconnects

You clearly want to push your narrative. Read the title please - EA intentionally disconnects. No, they don't. That has NOTHING to do with the squads glitch, the freeze glitch, or any of the other issues the game has. Stay on topic or make another t…
Jc23 said:Not fixing a known issue (ie the freeze glitch that was in the game for years until a YouTuber demonstrated how to execute it) definitely speaks for itself. At a certain point, inaction is action, yes?
Look at the squads glitch that is running rampant right now. Their lack of urgency to address issues (unless they affect them financially) definitely leads you to think that their lack of action damn near equates to them causing the issue themselves - like disconnects.

This is where you likely don't have insights that others do. One of their major metrics is time players spend in game (have you asked yourself why solos are so much longer, or why you have to complete every objective to max out FPs?). They are not d…
Jc23 said:Bro, what?? Maybe it's their "metric" concerning lack of quality upon updates (kick Metter issue, Xbox players not being able to play players not getting Henry, etc.).
Their main goal of making money undoubtedly is helped when players don't get the rewards they should. Please be realistic.
