<p>I get the impression that EA messed up and released them too early. Probably things will stabilise once everything (Field Pass, Challenges, store offers etc) gets released in full.</p>

<p>Given that the initial batch of tokens are tied to Legends and Team Of The Week which programs typically span multiple seasons, my guess is that they will carry over.</p>
