Agree, they jumped really fast. They wanted those All Star cards to be 96-99.
ThorAres said:Was so hyped for this year with power creep back...I've really enjoyed it overall but the fact they went from 95 to 99 in basically 2 weeks killed it for me....imo that game plays best between 87_92

Re: Screw RP

I am with you. I have not preordered CFB or Madden thing year. I may sit out my first Madden since the very first one. Pretty sick of the pay to play.
peatrick said:I agree with your SCREW EA sentiments. Imagine how furious you would be if you had spent an entire game year stocking up coins, working that auction house, investing your hard earned time and money into this bad, broken, buggy ass game... grind your way to glory, only to plunk down ~20M coins on Rookie Premiers, for EA to inevitably delay the launch, which means you'll still need to pony up cash in M26 just to field a somewhat competitive day 1 roster.
F this noise. I'm trying to not pre-order M26. They don't deserve our money, not at retail prices.
Re: Madden 25 (Original) Was the last good Madden

In part but not completely. I am saying the years of commitment should be guaranteed but at least 50% up to 75% of the dollars should be incentive latten based on performance. Maybe 50% based on player performance and 25% based on team performance…
Crab5 said:You'd be fine with contracts being guaranteed if they were not guaranteed, is effectively what you just said. lol
Re: Madden 25 (Original) Was the last good Madden

I would be fine with guaranteed contracts if they were performance based. You get x% of your contract if you hit goal 1, you get x% more if you hit goal 2, you get x% more if you hit goal 3, etc... There are too many players that get paid million u…
peatrick said:These owners need to stop being so cheap, these kids putting their bodies on the line, they ALL deserve fully guaranteed contracts.
NIL has changed things dramatically, they're not desperate for that first paycheck and can wait for the right deal. Times are changing.

Re: GT Allen, Maye, Vick

Pretty spot on. Depending on the situation, I would say Maye as he is the clear QB1 IMO. Best release in the game and amazing ability stack. However, we are at end game so depending on how much you still plan on playing and how you feel about RP …
Dawk20 said:Would add JJ McCarthy to your list as well. I have not used the GT Josh Allen, but know the release and can see the abilities. Good card, but would choose the other 4 first for either better throwing and abilities and value.
First, I do like all of the cards. Vick gets Brick Wall (which I did not find that helpful), but you do need to use GS/PLE and he lacks dots. At the end, you do not get great abilities compared to the others and I feel likely the worse throwing motion but still very good. However, he is really cheap now so good to have for a week or 2 before the best qb(s) are released. I doubt he will got down much further in price so when it is time to sell, you probably will not lose much (I doubt more than 100k, at worse).
JJ McCarthy has the fastest throw (in my opinion) so GS/PLE do not always need to be wasted. Still only gets 2 XF abilities so limited how you want to build him up. He will also not be a card that you can sell back so he only will cost about 300K, but that 300k will be gone when you change to another qb.
Maye is who I still have. Cost the most. Easily the best abilities for now and he will remain (likely) at top 5QB when the game ends. Great throwing motion (either top 1 or top 2) so with his ability stack that allows both for running and throwing, the only thing he will be missing from the endgame QBs will be Omaha. Personally I have found that with his angry runs ability he has avoided more sacks than occurred with Vick+Brickwall. Main downside is that he has the potential to go down in price more than the rest of the choices so theoretically you could lose more coins when/if you are ready to sell him. However, if you are the type that would never get Omaha, he could be your endgame QB.
Re: What would you like to see in MUT 26 (TT)?

Define better. Better to them doesn't mean better to us necessarily.
RavensFlockLetsFly said:they have already said that MUT26 will have better solo rewards, im just hoping they arent lying or their definition of "better" is 100 extra coins lol
Re: QB 1

I don't remember, I know they gave some but a couple were in the Season Pass, which they clearly didn't do this year. This year has been different from last year or any year prior with how high prices are how many good cards they put behind pay wal…
banana76890 said:i mean like last year didn't' they give like 6 free gts ??
Re: QB 1

Would be nice but I never hold my breath with EA anymore. They rarely give away anything of value for nothing anymore. This Madden has been the worst for Pay to Play I have ever seen.
banana76890 said:no but i think with the backlash there will be a free gt
Re: QB 1

Have they confirmed you get a free GT with Fan Appreciation?
banana76890 said:so im thinking that i should wait til Fan Appreciation and get free gt fields and save up for a good MLB or should i buy maye and pick Gronk when he comes out
Re: QB 1

It's Maye IMO, his release is far superior.
banana76890 said:I can't afford him
