Re: Milk man thoughts?

Milk Man got me a pick six tonight and I don’t even have Lurker on him. He was at RE and the pass was batted at the LOS. Milk Man caught the ball with one hand about 4 inches from the ground, did a full spin out of the catch and took it to the house.
mubby33 said:This reminds me of a Julius Peppers cards a few years ago. Put him at rush DT and then drop him into coverage or spy him. He would get picks just off the line of scrimmage for passes 15 yards down the field. They kind of nerfed this coding out of game a bit but I might have to try it out with the Milk Man!

Re: H2H Seasons VS Champions Payouts

You get no rewards for being ranked in Champions this year. Champions is only there to help progress the Comp Pass. Since it gives the highest CP payout people play it every week.
dub12345 said:So, fortunately, have been able to sit in legends division for H2H seasons for a few weeks. 5K per win/ 1k per loss, 25K for making playoffs, 6K for playoff wins, and 35K and a TD pack (which has some nice pulls) for making the SB. I have yet to actually win an SB in Legends, but won a few in MVP and remember getting some nice rewards, so I can only imagine they'd be better in Legends. All in all (including packs), a somewhat successful season can net you 125K-200K (maybe more) Competition in seasons seems to be nicely matched as well, get a few easy wins, take a few beatings, and a few dog fights in between. Overall, love seasons.
Champions however... every game is white knuckle, once I get to about 10 wins, I run into a freight train of sweatiness that makes me question my own Madden existence. I'm lucky to eek out 15 wins. Meanwhile, a big fat 0 of rewards for being unranked awaits me while I rack up a whopping total of 1K per win? I'm guessing if you get ranked, the rewards must be insane, but how insane? and how hard is it to get ranked? Basically, I play Champions for comp pass XP, but starting to wonder if that's even worth it.

Re: Legend only Pups are so dumb

Agreed, it’s a huge coin sink in favor of EA.

Since we only get 12AP and how the gameplay works they have forced us to build our teams based on discounted/free abilities. It’s crazy how much coins are being spent powering up Legends for discounted …
kaotikords said:Key point but its happened already multiple times: Vick or vice versa like Lott, Ware, Law, etc
Kurt Warner came out a month ago, people powered him up for a mili or so with all the pieces. Now a month later, you can have 1 card for way less and not having to power it up. Its insane they didnt add the new cards to the old pups. They should have gotten rid of them completely.
Now you either have essentially worthless cards sitting or wasted a ton of coins.
Re: Closer or Reach for it on Dillon?

Closer-

IF his X-factor deactivates in the 2nd half it will come back on after like 3 plays instead of 5.

He already has the “Fights for extra yards” trait so reach for it wouldn’t benefit him.
ollever99 said:So both are free... which one to equip? does closer help or is his activation still locked with his xfactor?

Original post moderated
Slammer’s post said per EA voting will be late February and TOTY will launch in March. Is that information incorrect?

Edit: Also why are you trying to imitate Wizzle?

Re: Corners following motion while in Zone

Yeah it’s not patched anymore, safeties will move with a defender in zone with no coach adjustments/pre-snap adjustments. I base align every game. Otherwise some of these H2H guys will move your safeties every play.
mbacon14 said:I'm assuming when you say your corner is moving when the receiver is motioned, that you mean the corner is following the motioned receiver like they're manned up on them? There are a few things I know of that can cause this.
- You had man alignment on from your coaching options.
- You accidentally clicked man alignment while making pre-snap adjustments
- There used to be a glitch where the offense would motion and corners would still move even in zone. I'm fairly certain that was patched either early this year or last year. Maybe that glitch is back, but not as common?
Sometimes a corner will move inside in zone if the motion causes there to be no receivers on that half of the field or move outside if there were no receivers on that side of the field and the motion adds a receiver to that side.
