It’s a video game. you do know you have the power to stop playing or not buy the video game. If something is broken why do you keep buying it and playing it?
phatalerror said:Why are you here in this forum preaching morals when you have a home and loved ones to care for? Perhaps you ought to apply the advice you give unsolicited. And maybe you shouldn’t assume that people here are doing nothing in behalf of the hurricanes’ victims. They might already be doing more than you in that regard.
Fake morality is worse than none at all, because hypocritical moralists won’t try to become better people.

Re: The future of MUT (my take)

People like you and me who bleed runs EA. Things like this that happen that y have no control over, the last thing I want to be bothered about is someone asking for a glitch to be patched.
phatalerror said:I’m not the one that made the initial post. I do feel that your take is sanctimonious. EA’s not a human injured by a disaster. It‘a a corporation, structured to continue even if an individual component is injured or killed. I’m not even sure what makes the hurricanes relevant.
I’m sure not about to give EA a pass for delivering Madden 25 to me as is after pre-ordering. I think they’ve underperformed in an unacceptably gross fashion.

Re: The future of MUT (my take)

Right now there could be a thousand glitches. I don’t care. People lost their homes and love ones. You worried about things not working in Madden? we have other things to worry about.
phatalerror said:I’m not the one that made the initial post. I do feel that your take is sanctimonious. Re: The future of MUT (my take)

Again, bad timing of your post. You could have posted this thread a month ago. With all the things going on in that region. It is not a good look. Madden is a video game. Life is real.
phatalerror said:I don’t see where an apology is due. Madden 25 was a disaster for more than a month before Helene and Milton. It’s not like EA was on the cusp of transforming Madden, but for a couple of hurricanes.
Re: The future of MUT (my take)

I read it, you could have added another page of apologizes. Again this post is not the right time and place. This is a video game. over 200 people died in Hurricane Helene and hundreds more are missing. Right now 10 people have been confirmed dead a…
hawkchopper said:read through it again. I clearly stated and even reiterated I apologise for the timing of the post and offered prayers to the victims of the hurricane. These issues have been going on for weeks mate

Re: Why is this community ok with cheating and exploits?

💯 % a with you. The reason why this started in the twitch chat was because user was asking people what do you consider being a good player? My answer a person who doesn’t have to use glitch or cheese plays to win.
DJONES13 said:They are wrong.
Crashing your line down and instantly glitching someone through the line to sack your opponent is a glitch.
Glitching/exploiting is against the TOS and MCS tournament rules = cheating. Saying you have to cheat because everyone else does is ridiculous.
Boogz and user were saying if it was a glitch, it wouldn't be allowed in the MCS...yet the route stem glitch was allowed in the MCS ladders earlier this year before being banned and later patched.
EA has already tried to patch the mug, so it's clear they are aware of it and agree that it is a glitch...so why isn't it banned in online MCS/online play until they can fix it?
Re: I Would Hate Madden Less If...

Why don’t you stop reading people‘s post. Lmao you complaining about someone look in the mirror.
Caltheballer18 said:Dude, every time I see you post it is a complaint about the game. My unsolicited advice would be to stop playing. If these forums are a good representation of how you and others feel about playing the game, it is not worth playing anymore. It is an addicting game, and it seems like people be powering through the BS in the game to satisfy that addiction.
Not necessarily trying to pick you out, but too much of MUT Discussion is people being upset about something in the game. There's got to be things out there to better spend free time.
Re: Why is this community ok with cheating and exploits?

I had this conversation yesterday during mcs Twitch stream. One great user (happy 50th bday) and boogz saying it’s okay to use double mug it’s not cheating or a glitch you can do things to stop it. You gonna take a knife to a gun fight? That’s what …
DJONES13 said:Uh, they tried to patch the double mug twice already.
You will never be able to convince me that glitching someone through the a-gap rushing 4 is skillful or an intended game mechanic. It's glitching/exploiting the game = cheating. Plain and simple.
