Field Passes: 2/10. Last years format was nearly perfect, and they heavily overcorrected in my opinion this year.

Menus: 2/10. Laggy for no reason and Companion App was coded by little kids

Non-Ultimate Team: 9/10. Really impressed in the revamped superstar mode, and the new park more like 2k. Franchise is still the same, which is fine by me as it really doesn't need any major revamps.

Overall, its decent, and enjoyable for bursts but not for a long time in a row like previous years.

<p>I agree with everything but content drops. They've been very boring so far. Copy and paste and copy and paste. Nothing has really stood out yet.</p>

I started writing down everything that was wrong this year but the list was long and boring and everyone knows what's on it so I stopped.  In an average hour playing, I'll experience 10 - 15 minutes of fun but the rest will be either boredom, bemusement, or mockery. Madden 23 was better in a way because with that game I felt rage, with this one it's just disappointment. The game has no soul. Everything from opening a reward to completing a challenge is just dull. H2H just about keeps me interested and because of that I literally HAVE to play the challenges in order to get better players (I'm NMS) but shouldn't I be playing them because they're fun? They're not. It feels like a job. Anyone who only plays solo must surely have packed it in already.

A "make or break" year apparently. No, just marketing horseshit to get all of us slubs buying it again.
