Most of us who play on old gen are doing so on a current gen console.  We do this because despite the issues mentioned by OP... the gameplay is FAR superior to the current gen version (that I also play).  

On the old gen version... we don't have custom stems... so there's no stem route glitching.  There's no pump fake exploits either.  We also don't have to deal with the ubiquitous midblitz nonsense.  But the most important thing is that there is actually a concept of user skill on defense.

I know the days of the old gen version are numbered... so I 've been splitting time between versions.  But the benefits of the current gen version (better graphics, an active auction house, custom audibles, premium field pass, new abilities, etc.) are not worth giving up being able to play defense.... and not worth dealing with the exploits... and ridiculously excessive celebration animations that current gen players have to endure.
