No one is buying points rn with the best cards out of packs. They have to figure out a way to level the playing field for all the new players who haven't dropped a dime on this game (which is a pRoBlEm for EA). Rather than increasing engagement, they are trying to squeeze their player base's collective wallet.

Tradeblock gatekeeping + this = EA's solution to their own incompetence (AKA fire sales AKA flash sales)

<p>Exactly, I was already leaning towards skipping the next Maddens over how this year  went, and this confirmed my decision. I think this will backfire. They just keep pushing players away to get more money.</p>

<p>not there yet, but close. I do one solo battle for the dailies and occasionally solos if it has something that I want.  I may switch back to Falcons TT and get up to 99 on Easter if the market crashes and almost call it quits after that.</p>
