I don't represent myself as a particularly notable competitor. What would be gained by a career MUT player beating up on a guy who wishes MUT was better than a shadow of its 1980's roots and tries to play it that way anyway?

This is simply not what happens in MUT.
There really is no reason anyone should be analogizing quick-snapping hurry-up in MUT with real-life football.
